What a rude statment i am sorry but making out that in some way people that dont notice the difference in 30fps and 60fps are easily pleased or in some way lower then yourself is utter rubbish all you are trying to do is flame this game (proberly because you dont own it and hate that fact)

No I don't own it, but plenty of people who *do* own it are bemoaning the 30fps framerate, more so on other forums than this one though. The fact is nobody should be satisfied with 30fps, you are settling for 2nd best and if you do then game makers will be happy to oblige - it's easier for them after all.

That's total rubbish.

Hmm.

Play PGR1 and 2 next to each other and you can notice the difference. Play one or the other and you will not notice the difference. You see, the human eye can discern between rapid changes in frame rates. As we all know film, or cinema uses something like 24 fps which is of the lower bound that the human eye considers fluid motion. This is of course a solid 24fps and the eye is happy to consider that fluid and constant. Its when a computer game rapidly jumps that the eye notices the peculiarity. Even playing two games next to each other one at 30 and one at 60, if they were constant it would be hard to tell them apart. Play one at 60 and have it slow down to 30 for a second or two, then youd realise. From what ive heard PGR3 makes a pretty good job at stable performance so the whole fps issue is neither here nor there.

No I couldn't disagree more. I can tell the difference between 30 and 60fps any time. 24fps is not fluid and movies do not have life like smoothness, but it is good enough for a movie. If you watch a live TV broadcast like a football match then it isn't 25fps (PAL) but 50fps - if it was 25fps then it wouldn't seem smooth at all.

Wait a min, are you saying that Bizarre creations are copping out on quailty by spending more time adding more detail into the game.

Huh?

I've been playing PGR3 with my flatmates and niether me nor them have had a single complaint about framerates. It still runs as smooth as butter.

Ninja Edit: Thanks for the awsome screenshots, any more?

when you go into the garage, its just like being a real garage looking at a real car, the game is sexy, and the motion blur when you drive is sweet.

So after tucking the Enzo up in the garage I thought i'd take it out for a spin online .. things were going well to begin with ..
