I really don't know how to look at this poll. On the one hand 17.76% appears shockingly high, on the other hand from reading the forums the last few weeks I wouldn't have been suprised if the figure had been substantially higher.
Sony fans, or MS anti-fans, can raise their '360 doesn't work' flag, and justifiably so; except I can't get it out of my head that all those that failed were replaced absolutely free of charge soon after malfunctioning, and the user soon carried on his/her next gen gaming fun.
Quantatively it's quite a small sample and imo it doesn't really prove much. I still think a qualatative poll on overall 360 experience is more meaningful.
Anyway, damn statistics. Lol statistically it's just as easy to argue that MS have proven (82.24%) they can make a working console. Also statistically it's not 17.76% have failed all of the time. Mine was out of my hands for a week; as was probably everyone elses that failed so in the, what 10 weeks we've had them they've failed 10% of the time; so adjust the poll by time and it comes down to 1.776% of 360s have failed on us since we got 'em.
I could go on but the 25% of beer in my can is getting warm...
