Who returned their Xbox 360 to the Microsoft Repair Centre have you had a console back yet just wanted to know as ill be sending mine back soon.

Do they deliver on their 72 Hour turnaround system could i have your views as my console is borked not power supply. :(

I bought it from Game online probably no chance of getting a straight swap if i used the guarantee with Microsoft their more then a chance ?

ahhh ok then.
HMV said they will do the warranty for me swap overs if it breaks. guess that only applies if they have then in stock though :p

If your console is broken and not your power supply, ring them and tell them.

I sent the power supply back so i have to wait until that comes back before i send the console. I tried my mates one today but no joy still so console is borked should have done that earlier but oh well.

I just wanted to see if someone has got their return 360.

My mates went boobies up , GAME werent interested , they told him his warranty was with microsoft.
He phoned MS , they sent him out a box to pack it all in and the whole process took 10 days inc Christmas day.
He got it back yesterday.

DHL picked my Console up on a Tuesday and DHL had it back in my hands Thursday the same week :)

Awesome turnaround from them.....I got the Empty Box Monday...DHL picked up Tuesday....MS got broken 360 Wednesday....I got my new one Thursday :D

/ninja edit

Good luck Bingham....I'm sure you'll be just as quick :D

They are so wrong.
If you check the Sale of Goods Act ammended 2002 you'll see that the retailer is responsible for a repair or replacement or refund for quite a few years after the sale.
I had a cooker that went wrong after 3 years (no extended warranty) the retailer was not interested until I quoted the SoG act at them, then they repaired it at their cost - was a lot of grief mind.

4 returns in this thread not looking good :/

You're likely to hear about the bad stuff first, or take more notice of it.
There are hundreds of us with the console who are very pleased with it on this forum alone.

Dont get me wrong im pleased with console it great just saying their 4 faults on the forum thats all :)

My Console just constantly froze doing anything other than sit on the Dashboard......It wouldn't even get passed the intro of Condemned....I put it down to overheating :o

I stand by that i think MS are talking out their **** when they say they believe 3% of Consoles have a fault of some sort.....I believe its higher.....No figures to prove it but i surf a lot of forums and the amount of Posts i read about people with faulty units amazed me.....

Poor guy on AVForums....Got his 360 replaced and the replacement broke after 15 minutes use.....Not good :o

Even Gameplay told me at the time of me reporting my faulty unit, that faulty 360's had set them back "about a week".....Trying to sort emails, phone calls and trying to get replacements.....That doesn't sound like a small problem to me!

Anyway, i have a working 360 now so i'm a happy chappy.....For now ;)
