I know 5 people personally who have a 360.....Myself included....Out of that 5.....3 of us have had to return our 360's.....That just smacks me as incredible and ofcourse reading various stories of other peoples unfortunate luck just creates the picture that it is a big problem BUT i undertsand the 1000's of people who have good systems ain't bombarding the Net with "Mines works" posts.....We will always read the bad posts....
I've had a XBox 1 since it's launch and i know more people than i care to count that have them and only 1 has had problems.....Their probably was loads of dodgy XBox's.....I just never heard of them

No seriously though does game disc temperature really make a difference.
Tried&Tested said:Good news (so far)..all seems well. Looks like i've got a newer dashboard version too.
Rich said:The temperatures thing is very basic , and also it seems, very overlooked.
Take a freezing cold disk that has been in your car all day, put it in a WARM console, and you are going to get condensation = wet = damage.
Over time this could make for serious problems.
They used to put a warning to that effect with most electrical items. Not sure if they do it any more....
Edit: Cant see any warnings for this in the 360 booklets...condensate at your leisure
