I havent got a 360 and this is slighty put me off getting 1 , some off u lot might of seen the thread over at Official xbox magazine

Slighty disappointed when I saw this

Perfect Dark Zero (the worst offender, it's quite nasty in places)
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (nearly as bad as PDZ but not quite)
Blazing Angels: Squadrons of WWII demo
Need For Speed: Most Wanted (moderate to slight tearing ingame)
Kameo: Elements of Power (splitscreen co-op only, it doesn't seem to tear in single player)
Madden NFL 06 (very slight, more noticeable in the cutscenes)
Amped 3 (very slight, barely noticeable)

Just wait till u see MotoGP '06 ;)
on yer list though the only 2 i can remember having tearing is Blazing Angels demo and PD0

I have 5 of those and haven't experienced it once...

I can honestly say having played Kameo and GRAW to the end I didn't see any tearing once.

Another backing for GRAW... never noticed it once. MotoGP06 however is a different issue altogether!

EDIT: When zooming in though, the flickering of signs in GRAW is horribly bad!

I must either be lucky or I dont let it bother me, as I've not noticed it in any game I have played (and I've played most 360 games).

Yeah When I first saw that sign break up on graw I thought my 360 was dieing. In multi player the tearing is worse than SP.

NEVER had any tearing on ANY 360 game.

Whether my monitor is fast enough, or I don't play the game properly or my eyes don't see it I don't know, but never had a single issue.

What is tearing exactly.

Would an extreme example be a 'line' visible down the middle of the screen where the top half is to the left, and the bottom half to the right.

If so ive seen something a little like it in graw. But to be honest it doesnt bother me

yes kind of.

I've seen it on GRAW and the moto gp demo.

never seen any tearing, but i'm getting fed up of framerate issue's, although that didn't stop me completing N4SMW and that was terrible and easily the worst offender

Moto's worse than that Imho. I would rather they locked it at 30fps. It's nearly always exiting corners for some reason. Personally since the launch titles I think the rest of the games have been a bit shabby.

Moto is pretty bad, although it dosent bother me really on the xbox, certainly not the way it does on pc, i dont know if this is down to the fact that i know i cant fix it, theres nothing i can do, so i dont let it upset me :)

funnily enough it doesn't bother me so much on MotoGp 06, yeah its very noticeable on the tight u-bends and less so on the normal bends and not at all 80% of the game, but with N4SMW its apparant everywhere within the race tracks all the time, and there is loads of framerate issues on most of the other games also.

Think i could name about 5 out of all the games released that are 100% fine, and its a problem with the 360 that just seems to me that is becomming the norm these days which simply wasn't a problem on the older consoles even at 60fps.

Shall be keeping a close eye on the ps3 to see if that suffers the same fate.

Ive only got GRAW on that list and I havent noticed any tearing at all. If the tearing is the only reason stopping you buying one it seems a bit stange, as games like Blazing Angels and Perfect Dark arent worth buying anyway.

I had the same problem with NFSMW in SD yet when I have it running in HD (through component) its fine... no framerate issues or tearing at all.

However I will have to agree with the OP the tearing on PDZ is terrible.

Havn't noticed it in other games that I have played (PGR3 / COD2 / Farcry / BF2:MC / Kameo).
