**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Rainbow 6 and Brothers in Arms are the only two that vaguely interest me, including those it's just a bunch of sequels I'm long tired of.

I saw a 4K TV in action and had mixed feelings. On the one hand the detail was stunning, but on the other it looked too detailed (if that makes sense). It was showing a clip of some Tom Cruise film.

Killer instinct was rumoured a while back, can't wait to see if its true. Fingers crossed, remeber being robbed buying this for £80 back on the SNES.

Only time I get benefit from 1080 is with blue ray and the odd hdtv channel

No way I'll bother with 4k until we have 4k native films on disc and OTA broadcasts not on sky

I dint think there is any need with this gen of console to aim for 4k.and by thehhardware they aren't

Sounds like what HFR does - everything looks too real...

ps3ud0

It looked fantastic on the panoramic vistas of the Alps on the set next to it, the Tom Cruise film looked like you could crawl into the pores on his face.

It just looked odd.

do you think its enough to get all the disgruntled fans back on side?

I'd be surprised if the following don't appear on the PC as well:

• Fable IV
• Dead Rising 3
• Call of Duty: Ghosts
• Battlefield 4
• The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
• Prey 2
• Homefront 2
• Beyond Good & Evil 2
• Mirror's Edge 2

Which are the ones I'm mostly interested in anyway!

i think there was a situation bubbling with Witcher 3 too, Something to do with the devs hate of strict DRM on consoles. So from a few posts\articles i've read. that may not see the light of day outside of PC.

I think dead rising and mirrors edge will be exclusives, just a guess tho

Yet you can buy their games on Steam...

I'm sceptical. I would be amazed if they don't release The Witcher 3 on XBO, PS4 and PC. They would be missing out on a massive amount of revenue for what is a meagre amount of work (compared to previous generations).

apparently this is a leaked list of microsofts E3 games

according to the NeoGAF post:
• Halo 5
• Killer Instinct
• Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty Land
• Forza Motorsport 5
• Quantum Break
• Halo: Spartan Assault
• Ryse
• Fable IV
• Crackdown 3
• Fortnite
• Dead Rising 3
• Call of Duty: Ghosts
• Battlefield 4
• The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
• Dying Light
• Prey 2
• Homefront 2
• Beyond Good & Evil 2
• Mirror's Edge 2
• Rainbow 6: Patriots
• Brother in Arms: Furious Four
• League of Legends

A lot of those will be multi platform.
The only exclusives i'd be interested in are Killer Instinct and Crackdown 3.

Which of that 'leaked' list are the 7 new IP's that were promised? (Or was it 8?)
I count 4, possibly 5 if they're counting LoL as new (to Xbox)

I thought it was 15 games MS Studio's (1st/2nd party) were working on over the first year of the machine with 8 new IP? Which in itself sounds aggressive.

My guess for how they have classed it:

• Halo 5
• Killer Instinct - NEW IP
• Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty Land - NEW IP
• Forza Motorsport 5
• Quantum Break - NEW IP
• Halo: Spartan Assault - NEW IP
• Ryse - NEW IP
• Fable IV
• Crackdown 3
• Fortnite - is this exclusive to XBone? Assume this is Epic's new game and therefore a chance of being exclusive.

And oh...League of Legends for consoles. That's cool.

It's already confirmed on PS4, no mention of XB1 version though, which is to be expected with their hate of DRM

I assume you are classing a new IP as a franchise that has never appeared specifically on the Xbox before?
