Anyone got their head around this ESRAM thingy yet, or is everyone still in the dark?

I'm not sure on it, but I'm just waiting much closer to the time to read up on anything like that. Hopefully they manage to make good use of it.

- I'd guess the mystery port was something from the earliest versions of the production console, like the console that was shown in an employee's living room. Probably for development purposes, which we all don't need.

Maybe some kind of PC interface port? That would make sense on a developmental console.

Looks nice and fast, multi-tasking looks good but boy is it ugly far to windows 8 for my liking. Does the guide no longer pause the game? unless its an option to either way.

Anyone notice the frame rate drop whilst he entered the game from the
dashboard, where the soldiers are jumping down around 2:03mins. I guess you could put it down to beta software.

No its down to the second gpu not being enabled in it as yet.

As for the dashboard... it looks horrible IMO. Just like the W8 start screen

The guide doesn't always pause the game now, it's done in a game by game basis so I imagine the same will be true in the Xbox One.

Must say I'm not overly keen on the dash, but I like how fast it is. Considering I will be doing very little but playing games I'm not overly bothered by it. If they continue to sell themes it'll be interesting to see just how much can be customized.

edit: But yeah that is really really fast loading into the game, quite impressive!

Really like the UI, nice and snappy and pretty simple to use.

Would like to see what's behind the tiles, for example going into the settings or going into the music tile, to see how its layed out behind.
