Basically confirming how naff the shoulder buttons are and the fact you can only press the outer edge.

He highlights the problem.
That actually comes across as a good review of the pad except for the shoulder button issue, which may not be an issue at all depending on how you hold the controller (and also how much have those demo controllers been through?). I've got a 360 pad in front of me and when I pick it up, my fingers naturally press the outer edge of the shoulder buttons, so it wouldn't affect me. Trying to press the inside edge just feels wrong for me!

Just came back from the Glasgow lock in. I tried the shoulder buttons first as that was the issue i heard most about and I thought they were better than the 360, maybe it is the way I hold the pad or the fact it is probably well run in. really liked the rumble in the triggers too.

I do wonder if how you hold it does play a part in how well the shoulder buttons feel. Time will tell I suppose.

What games did you play and how did you like them?

I only played forza, there was only 6 xboxes set up, wait in the queue of 60 people, play a game and wait in the queue again. I had 2 laps on forza, first one with the mclaren second with a focus. I am not a big forza player so don't really have a frame of reference, looked really nice. Load times were long, but that is hopefully just an unoptimised demo build. I just thought that would be the best to try out the triggers.

Dead rising on the xbox next to me really impressed, just the sheer number of zombies on screen.
