**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

I haven't been following the Xbox stuff to closely, but what were the huge benefits that they reversed out of curiosity?

Couple of the top of my head:
Family sharing which would have allowed you to share games with up to 10 people. Much like what steam announced recently

Discless play even with disc based games. The up side to this would be that you could switch instantly between games. The down side is that it would tie that disc to your console so no more trade ins

This has never been confirmed. The plan was changed before they gave details of the implementation.

I have read everything from the family would have trial versions, to they would have full versions they could play simultaneously. No-one apart from Microsoft knows what was planned.

Although I agree with you that no details were ever officially announced and that the extent of the sharing was also up for debate I'm sure I read somewhere that the amount of people that could share would be 10.
Personally I always thought the sharing would have been just like the steam sharing with 1 person able to play a game at any one time

@eyetrip: They've reversed their ideas to make both consoles more like the current ones, just with extra power. Which tbh, is all that I'm after anyway.

Roll on 27 days and 9 hours... ;)

edit: Actually like the trailer, like the bit with the tip from the solider ;)
