Stock of day ones available on amazon France. Have ordered myself no problems so far for 506 euro delivered. Gonna keep trying for a uk source till Thursday and cancel this if any uk stock becomes available.

Was originally getting both, then stupidly cancelled my XB1 preorder on shopto, now scrambling to preorder the xb1 again!!
I did the same so messaged shopto explaining that I did not want to cancel and could the order be re-instated and they did.
My day one with Forza is now showing as processing and payment has been taken. Might be worth sending them a message ?

It's been about a week since I cancelled, how long did you wait inbetween and when did you message them as is quite late now! (As in launch is upon us)
Cancelled it last weekend and messaged on Friday and it was sorted within an hour.

I know far a fact I'll be itching for the X1 come Friday when everyone else has one, and will end up buying a none day one edition losing out on the free game.

And another Next Gen game on XB1 that is apparently not able to hit 1080p @ 60fps. This is getting embarrassing for the tag "next gen" and xb1 lol

Black flag only runs 30fps from what I read.
There is no real proof though. If its upscaling then it will output at 1080p so no way of really knowing without the developer openly admitting it...
Some rumours I have read say the XB1 is running lower res but with more AA which in some cases might be better.
Who knows.....
Once the devs get to grips with the 32mb esram and DX11.2 tiling I really think the Xbox one will start to shine. Tiling allows around 6gb of textures to be stored into the 32mb esram unlike the PS4 which will use 6GB of DDR5. Couple this with the Xbox ones 8GB of DDR3 and Microsoft's hardware makes a lot of sense...
I doubt very much any of the multi platform launch games utilise the 32mb esram and tiling and just use the DDR3 hence the performance hit.
Time will tell....

Exactly the same as the PS4 version then. Both are running at 900p out of the box, with a patch on PS4 that'll upgrade it to 1080p. The Xbox One might get the same patch in the future, nothing has been confirmed yet.
I'm so glad I look at things simply 
Will things on xb1 (and ps4) look better, at a higher resolution, with higher, stable fps, implementing new features & techniques as time goes on that will create games on these platforms in 3-4 years time that dwarf the look of the current batch of next gen games...

I think the only really big differences in graphics between the two consoles will be in the exclusives, that has been true of the current generation of consoles also, even in the earlier days where the 360 had better versions of the multiplatform games it wasn't a case of one game looking borderline terrible and the other game looking absolutely amazing. It's also far too early to be drawing any meaningful conclusions from comparisons at this stage, developers are nowhere near familiar enough with these consoles to make any sort of prediction regarding the graphical differences in multiplatform games.
One other thing that bugs me about fanboys is the fact that they are squabbling over something as pathetic as very slim graphical differences in multiplatform games between two consoles. If graphics are your main concern then you don't really have any business calling yourself a lover of games for a start, and then there is always the fact that if you just want something pretty to look at, or you want the best graphical version of something you should probably just be buying a PC in the first place.
