and one of the top blokes says lots of scenarios has been discussed and at this time nothing has been released to press. ATM that's the only official word.
As he said himself there's been a lot of confusion not helped by certain MS employees. But their official statement is lots of scenartios, No press release/info at this time.

And yet we now have the exact opposite and we are hearing how much better the ps4 is and how the xboxone is never going to take off. Funny that.

I bet in 3 years time its going to mean diddly squat.

Well look at the difference between the 7770 vs the 7850

The XBONE GPU has 2 more CU than the 7770 and the PS4 GPU has 2 more CU than the 7850, the PS4 has faster GDDR5 than the 7850 though.

Not to mention the GPU's in both the consoles are both running at 800MHz so the difference will be even bigger than shown in that comparison.

If you think the difference between the XBONE and the PS4 is going to be small then I think you're in for a surprise.

Who said the xbox one wont take off? It'll still be carried by its exclusives. No one is saying it wont take off.

Its just got a hell of an uphill battle ahead of it with regards to meeting the PS4 on equal footing.

I imagine it'll be a case of what we see now in a sense, We will get multiplats that perform better on PS4(This gen it was 360 obviously) and exclusives will be great on both.

The PlayStation 4 environment is definitely more mature currently, so Microsoft has some catching up to do. But I’m not too concerned about that as they traditionally have been very good in that area. The specs on paper would favour the PS4 over the Xbox One in terms of raw power, but there are many other factors involved so we’ll just have to wait and see a bit longer before making that judgment.”

As I said let's just wait and see how all this pans out over the next three years when the consoles and actual hardware they will use are released.
