I'm strange in that I very rarely watch the derby. If we lose and I'm not watching, I'll be disappointed but I can manage. If we lose and I'm watching, it'll screw up my mood for the rest of the weekend. Not sure I fancy risking that, especially as I've got mates round Saturday night to watch the boxing :)

Carl Froch against George Groves. They really don't like each other so should be a good tear up. It's on Sky Box Office but we'll all chipping in so it's only a few quid each.

They are large however your xbox will delete the games you don't play. Not fully delete them, it will keep enough there to start the game and will install like it does as normal.

Im not sure the issue with the installs, it takes like 10 seconds to start (for eg) Killzone on the PS4, im sure its the same on XB1.
 
Looks like I will have to wait until after 6pm to play mine tomorrow - working all day and have limited daytime download allowance (as already over this months usage) so will need to wait until 6pm to download the patch :(

On the bright side I will go and stock up with some beer for the drunken zombie fest later :)

Will XBL be available over there? I dno how that all works if you arent in a launch country - hopefully you dont have to speak French to it!

EDIT: Just checked youll be fine as you bought it from the UK - Kinect will use English; doubt it will matter to most its voice region locked.

Im going to sit there and drool over the box, only to find out when ive opened the box...its a couple of bricks:p.

On a more serious note, im picking it up tonight at the midnight launch but by the time i get home...ill probably just leave it and go to sleep as i got work on Fri. Probably fri evening ill get round to unpacking it and setting it up.
 
I'm going to ring tesco in a bit and see exactly what's what.
I rang the other day and they said they had a lot of first come first served consoles plus the pre-ordered ones.
I'm not queuing all evening though, I'll prob ring them again tonight at 22:00 see how it's looking then pop up at 23:00ish and see where the queue is.
If it is stupid I'll get back in the car and go home.


Any of you guys going to be queuing for the midnight launch or are you all mail order?
