Isn't CoD US servers? I always thoght since there was never an option for servers it was always US and thats why when i fire at someone before they did and die i check the replay and on there screen i never fired.

I'm talking about the speedtest on XB1 itself, it could be an american server that's going to though never thought about that.

180ish ms ping for me, tried both wired (power line admittedly but wasn't a problem on 360 games) and both wireless 2ghz and 5ghz.

Unyet I get 10-20ms on my PC games. I really hope that ping isn't from the cloud.

Ping on your dashboard was confirmed by MS other day for pinging the US database.

Someone here mentioned they had that and had to switch it off properly and pull it out of the socket and back in again to solve it IIRC

Speaking of Dublin that is one of the MS EU cloud locations along with Amsterdam. So in theory you should not be playing on US servers.

Just turned the daft sharpness setting on my tv and the games now just look as natural as the PC counterparts. Had a blast on bf4 multiplayer also! Great fun and did pretty good considering I've never played an fps online before on a console lol.

From what I read the Xbox dashboard connection test pings the US servers hence the high Ms. But dedicated servers are EU for UK play.

Mate of a mate said his power adapter socket on his One is very flimsy.

I have two consoles turning up tomorrow. One is a first day bundle with Forza, Fifa, Cod and BF4 bundled and now I have a console from MS without any games but I managed to bag Forza, DR3 and RYSE for less than £70 so the bundle will be returned to Game.

so i was onto the Microsoft live chat about my dodgy controller,they said it is a well know issue with day one consoles and i have to post them my pad and they post a new one once received. I expected a better service to be honest from Microsoft especially after spending like £500 on console and games for the controller to be faulty straight out of the box.

Xbox and Ps4 were both rushed so it's no surprise really. I hope my Ps4 doesn't give me any issues it's the last thing i want after waiting so long.

The actual lead, power brick or socket on the console?

Everything on mine is pretty solid and tight. Apart from the headset, I wouldn't class anything at all that came in the box as "flimsy"

I could buy every console and the best PC possble if i really wanted to, however i have other things to do in life, not just games, one console is fine for the amount of gaming i do these days.
