**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

As I said earlier, my XO is arriving tomorrow from OCUK, but I also have one on pre order from 'Very', the Console with FIFA Download code, around £449 ish. It's due for delivery before Christmas, does anyone think it would be worth still going ahead with it to try (will it?) sell on for a few extra quid? Can't decide whether to just cancel it or not...
 
Can someone confirm that streaming a 5.1 video from WMP to the Xbox (via my receiver) gives 5.1 sound?

On the ps3, when I pressed select I could see how many channels it was using, doesnt give that info on the xbox..

Oh there was plenty of PS4 stock around btw but nothing grabs me yet on that format:)

Yes I could pick one up easy tomorrow if I wanted, xbox one much harder to get hold of.

I know mate, I'm actually quite gutted about it to be honest. As has been said though it is just my personal opinion, who knows maybe you'll love it?

lol, a place somewhere over the rainbow called Argos ;)....I went in this morning, entered the catalogue number to check stock, it said they will have 2 in tomorrow and to go to till which I did....... I gave my name and they gave me a reservation number on a receipt with all the details, didn't pay any deposit , available after the 30th 12 pm, will either flog it or try it out myself and then sell it but obviously for not as much as brand new unopened.
 
Tescos and PcLand had stocks here ( they are beside each other), not running out at all by the looks of what they had.
 
Found a potential solution for the non-updating tiles which worked for me, might work for anyone else who is scratching their heads as well:

I had a Homehub 4 so was affected by this issue.

EDIT: Youtube also worked briefly so I assume it is just buggy. Somewhat ironically it played fine for 30 seconds and now says the video format is not supported.... er what?!
