Exactly, go and try it out if you can...pretty sure some places will have one set up.
Got my replacement Xbox one so im happy but didnt get a chance to set it back up as i had to get to work.
As far as voice commands, it pretty much works for me even though i have a dodgy canadian accent
. It can be a bit hit and miss but hopefully with some later updates, they can tune it further. One thing i have noticed is that it tends to pick up my missus voice more clearly than mine, which gave us a few laughs ie the xbox doesnt like me much lol. As for pausing a game??, i just say xbox go home and it pauses it for me. Or i just press the menu button on the controller and it pauses it.
Really hoping they add more functionality to the dashboard as its a bit bare at the moment but all in all i still love the xbox one and wont even consider returning it or selling it although my cousin said he will give me what i paid for it. But i told him fat chance, should have pre-ordered it like i did

mine is definitely going back now argos has said they are picking it back up.I am just going to wait a few months see how things pan out with next gen consoles.I can see me getting another xbox in future for titan fall but when i ordered it and seen the launch line up nothing really stood out for me so when i got it and had the broken controller that didn't get me off to good start with console.The dashboard i just cant get my head around, then losing my battlefield save and crashing while playing and the sound issues.I just think for me console is way to big, controller at the start i thought felt really nice but after using it i found it slightly awkward especially the bumper buttons but i guess you prob would get used to it.The console just didn't blow me away i prob expected too much but i will just wait see what happens.
Oh and i got offered £22 for Battlefield 4 and £22 for dead rising in grainger games then i walked into CEX they gave me £70 hmm couldn't believe that offer pure cheek

I've got my PS4, but really want a XB1 and I'm willing to pay a few extra on eBay to get one.
Issue I have is what would I do if there was a fault with it? I've spoke to the buyer and she will happily give me the Argos receipt, but she paid on card... I don;t suppose I would have any luck taking it back there if I had a fault with it would I? They certainly wouldn't give me a refund for cash, so I suppose I'd have to go to MS to get it fixed/replace correct?

For the XB1?
Warranty is with the original buyer i would imagine so if anything goes wrong then she would be your first port of call. Not sure if M$ would help you as they may ask to speak to the original buyer.
If i was you, id wait till more stock was available and then get one...at least that way you are the warranty holder and you wont have to jump through hoops to get it fixed.
Thats my honest opinion and i wouldnt buy from ebay as its a rip off pricewise.
Can you not register it with MS and use them to deal with any issues? It's also probably unlikely there will be any, but I understand the hesitance.
Why don't you like your PS4?....and why do you really want an Xbox one instead?
Yes with a valid receipt you would get a replacement from Argos when they came back into stock or deal with Microsoft.

i registered my xbox before returning it and i am sure it said warranty runs out 2015 not sure if its 2 years for xbox one?
Oh I love my ps4 already, I just want a xb1 as well. gutted I never preordered, and for the life of me actually don't know why.
Think I might wait, be a real headache if it goes pear shaped I feel. So eager to play DR3 since I loved the first two so much

Right, quick question if i may about DSR,
Got my Day one edition from Amazon on launch day.
pad feels like it is coming apart.
IF i send the pad to MS it will take 7-10 working days for MS to replace it from when they receive it from me.
Amazon wont replace it, they say im to send the console and everything back to them.
Now then, I was thinking of doing the DSR thing (if it means i can get my cash back with in a day or 2) send it back, get cash back, buy another from my local GAME or something, Thing is i have used the Forza 5 code that came with my console from Amazon, would the code being used effect the whole DSR thing?

Most probably yes. Just wait it out for MS to replace the pad. Can you post a picture of the controller?
Yes Dead Rising 3 is the kind of game the PS4 lacks, a shame really as I would have loved to of seen how the extra grunt of the PS4 would deal with that kind of game.
Don't beat yourself up about not pre ordering, TBH earlier this year I was really really high on the PS4 and not into the xbox one at all but closer to launch I got more and more interested in the Xbox one and MS's advertising campaign really was miles better than Sony's.
I only managed to get a xbox one because just over a week before the 22/11 a member on here had a GAME pre order he didn't want because he had pre ordered it on amazon for Forza 5 instead of Fifa 14 day one from Game so got a pre order slip off him.
I would wait if I was you until stock comes in just before Christmas or early next year, PS4 should keep you happy until then.

The graphics aren't even slightly impressive, the games don't run at 1080p natively, jaggies everywhere... Id go as far as saying that it's closer to the 360 than a pc.
I remember devs saying bf4 on Xbox one would be like pc version on medium settings, what nonsense... Bf4 on medium on pc is miles ahead of Xbox one version simply because it can actually run at 1080p.
Assasins creed wasn't visually impressive either. Don't have much faith in the ps4 being upto scratch either.

Where the white circles are, if you were to press down there you can actually hear it click and feel it move

that whole segment is the same problem, but much worse, when the rumble in the trigger kicks in you can feel that whole segment shaking, the left side segment is all good and nothing like the right
Look at some of the 360 launch games compared to current ones, no surprise there.
The games look and play fine imo, clearly a step up from the 360.
Neither PS4/X1 will compare to a PC, but it's a different market in some respects.
Still, if you personally got one and not impressed, sell it now - you'll at least make a profit
