**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

I've given up trying to get one before my One from Amazon arrives end of next week.

Saying that I still keep looking on that stock checking website and if one, or a bundle I fancy, comes up I'll get it.
 
Gutted i never pre ordered one now.

Is there anyway to use my turtle beaches from my 360? they have a rca jack and used the 360's old interface to send audio and then the hdmi socket for the pic.
 
SO I programmed my Tv and Amp just fine, however, when I put "xbox Off" it doesn't put the Tv into stand by or turn the Amp off, I though it was able to do that?
 
Hmm I literally just got them programmed, vol etc working fine on my Amp and Tv, is their an extra setting to make this happen?

Ahh just found it, theirs an extra few ticks you have to make!

LOL old habit supposed to have posted on the ps4 thread. need to stop calling it a xbox when on about the ps4 too.

Gonna miss the whole live experience especially since the 360 did such a great job but everything on the one is wrong for me. Hope you guys enjoy it though.
 
Anyone else been using the Stock Informer website to try and reserve an Xbox One?

When they show stores having it in stock, you go through the process on the Argos website and even though the Argos website confirms a particular store has stock it fails to give a reservation number and just says this:

Sorry, we are unable to confirm the reservation for some of your items. If you requested an email copy of your reservation then please check your email before trying again - as the email version will show if the reservation has been confirmed.

EDIT: Tried this loadsa times in the past hour but it never works and also no emails from Argos. Useless system.
 
Ryse is easily the best looking console game I've ever seen. I've not seen killzone in the flesh though so can't comment sadly, but rise definitely has better graphics than crysis 3 has and BF4.
 
Stupid question but I don't suppose I could plug the One into my PC using a digital optical cable and the PC output the sound from the One?

I game on a monitor with no speakers and have no means of a digital input of yet for sound.

If you had read my posts then you would have seen this bit:

USE THE ARGOS ANDROID OR IOS APP TO RESERVE AS THE WEBSITE IS BUGGY
