No, nothing to do with the fact I found the settings and story appealing...
I went on multiplayer but didn't understand it.... Was just sat there for ages but all the games just stayed at 'in progress' so gave up and went back to single player.
Will figure it out tomorrow, day off
You'd of joined a lobby, however people who were in the lobby prior to you are already racing.
The 'in progress' means they are actively racing and will eventually update to 'race complete' or similar.
There is then the time for the race to finish (45 seconds), and then the summary screen of 20 seconds I believe, then back to lobby.
At that point the people who raced in the last race, will get to vote on the next track, and you'll automatically be included in the next!
It can be a bit of a waiting process, especially if you join shortly after the other people have actually just started, but it's worth it
I really enjoyed the story i thought it was well put together and the voice acting was really good too. The only thing that really bothered me was there are about 10 enemies that were repeated over and over again. I would give it a 7.5/10
I do! Xbox one version is way way uglier than 1600p with supersampling obviously. I don't recommend playing it on xbox one if you have a pc with a 670/7950 or so as it is super jagged.
Condemned. Now there is a game I loved on launch night! Picked that up with perfect dark zero fully expecting to hardly play it. I barely touched perfect dark zero such was its terribleness and difficulty but condemned I got right the way through then went back for all the dead birds.
I didn't have a 360 at launch I got my in the Feb the next year but had Perfect Dark and Condemned. Condemned was and still is one of the best horror games I've played.
I didn't think I was gonna play it much either but couldn't put it down.
I'm gonna pick up Ryse after Christmas, some of my friends have got it and they have all said that they have enjoyed it.

Stock is still a bit sporadic on these, all my local argos have the fifa pack @ 449 yet further afield, none available.

I did reserve and collect from my local Tesco and when I picked it up they had loads in stock so I could have just walked in and bought one ...they also had quite a few PS4's as well.
Completed Lego Marvel with my wife last night. Very good game but the story mode is a little short. We have finished it but are only 14% "complete". Now it is time to explore New York and get the other 86%...
On a side note and further to my post earlier in the thread (Xbox Live Gold confusion), I still have access to all of the apps that should require Gold to function. The temporary pass I used has definately expired now and I have not paid for Gold; either through the console or online.

Would be a bit difficult as I havn't had Live Gold for around 5-6 years. None of my (bank) details are on the system so I am

mine expired yesterday and I'm still on gold yay they have not worked out how to deactivate it lol

Confirmed the chap I got it from has not been charged twice for Gold. He did install most of the apps before selling it though which might go some way to explaining why I have access to them. I did a complete restore to default settings (which meant I had to download everything again) but perhaps the console "remembers" it has downloaded these apps before.... I don't know TBH.
As long as no one is being overcharged I am happy to have access to these apps.
I tried MS support again as my controller has got worse. Not only do you have to pay return postage but you have to send returns them to the Czech Republic. Then go w/o a usable console whilst you wait for a replacement.
I don't understand why they can't sent replacements first with free return label and then charge your CC/DD if you fail to return the faulty one.

If it is faulty the retailer has a legal obligation to sort it out. It is the retailers responsibility to ensure the item operates as intended not Microsofts.
I would personally deal with the retailer unless of course you purchased it direct from MS.
