**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Uncompressed is always better.

I am going to buy an XO :D

I will just download all the games I buy. Where I live by the time I have driven to the nearest city the game would have fully downloaded!

Err, no, I mean PS4?

Edit, looks like I mean GT7 when it is out. How silly not allowing one of their best titles (and only reason to buy a PS) onto the new console.

The next racing game to get released for the PS4 is Drive Club, which was mean to be launched with the console but it got delayed , heaven knows how long it will be before GT7 gets completed / released for the PS4.

So glad i went with Xbox one / Forza 5 as all im interested in is racing games atm . but i will get a PS4 again at a later date as long as money is not a factor.

I got a preowned copy of Dead Rising 3 for £39, clicked install... 5gb patch, on a 2mb connection.. lol, was able to start playing once it got to 15% but hung a few times during play untill it finished, not exactly what I would call simple.
If I disconnect my network cable before installing any future games, will they still install and play ok, then pickup the patch while on standby later if the network cable is re attached? as When I unplug my cable i lose my login and pinned apps.

It will come eventually, you have to bear in mind that many people are only just upgrading to the previous gen. Next gen is always a marathon not a sprint.

Hey is the X1 worth getting ??? Not played one yet.
Just wanted people's opinions

If you will use the media side of it, yes.

Mine has only really been used for Lovefilm. I had Forza but got bored of it after about 10 hours play due to the lack of tracks (about 6 tracks altogether) .

Got FIFA aswell but that is just pants to someone like me who doesn't know anything about football.

All other games don't really interest me, going to try BF4 out. Got a feeling it won't last to long though knowing me.

Still glad i got the XBone.

You played for 10 hours and think there are 6 tracks

Something like that.

Don't get me wrong i thought the game was awesome at first. Just got fed up of playing the same track over and over and over again and hearing that bloody women repeat her self every race "Welcome back to Prague! A city that was built over 1000 years ago", **** OFF!.

Ill wait for Forza Horizon 2 as i proper loved the first one:)

Hey guys

Got my soldering iron this afternoon and modded the chat headset that comes with the xbox one, I can now use Turtlebeach X42'S to chat & it works perfectly so no waiting around now for MS to release the chat adaptor.

Just removed the wires from the One headset & soldered 3 wires onto a 2.5mm jack plug onto the existing cable (the fourth wire, black one is not used).

Cheers all

The black one is used, it's the other ground, connect it to the other one, both the mic and headset have there own ground but both can be connected together and soldered to the same ground point.

You may get static, either through the mic or headset (can't remember which ground the black is used on)

Hope this helps
