What was up with your controllers?

Reason I ask is that my B button is beginning to stick after only about 10 hours use

Day one edition controller - X and Y buttons stuck/jammed and the casing became loose around the grips (didn't replace this controller)

Standard controller bundled with console - casing became loose around the grips, and the shiny black finish at the top of the controller was loose.

Replacement standard controller - loose around casing and again, shiny black finish at top of controller was loose.

Really, really shoddy quality and given my experience I prefer the durability of the earlier 360 controller.

I went to send a message the other day, then realised that I reallllly cba, now that I don't have the luxury of a chatpad :'(

Was hoping that there would be an option for voice-recognition to type out messages... but clearly that's asking too much

Purchased some before christmas, what a mistake that was.

Where the USB lead plugs into the back of the battery is broke already.

Have you got a phone or tablet that runs SmartGlass? You can use a full keyboard on that once it's all up and running.

Yeah I've got it setup on my iPad... which is all well and good, but I'd still prefer to quickly tap out a message on a chatpad instead of having to switch over to another device.

I'm sure they'll release it eventually

Anyone else finding shops full of these now. Is it just not selling or have they just been brilliant with stock this time? I guess we won't know for a while but it took months to get a 360 after a similar launch window. I could literally buy 100 tomorrow if I wanted.

It's weird interest seems quite flat on both, last gen I know loads of people trying to get one or the other. This gen I know no one bothering with either. Even on here it's nothing like the 360 launch. Although I'm hopefully it will cause the price to come down I fear kids current infatuation with tablets could really harm console gaming for the future.

Much better stocking compared to the 360 mainly. UK got a terrible supply at launch with only 300k units for Europe at launch.

I think its the price difference, no where has just PS4s in stock, only expensive bundles. Im gonna order an XBone today from Game, cashback plus reward points =

Yeah, ps4 stock is mad. As I said in the ps4 thread - if stock doesn't improve in the next few weeks I'll just grab an XO instead

PS4 is spread over something like 48 countries so the UK is only getting a very small allocation of stock, XO is only in 13 territories with similar all up manufacturing capacity so the supply is starting to catch up again now after the launch.
