To make things worse, FIFA ultimate teams, coins, and stats all transfer from PS3-PS4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One. So were actually going to be missing out by not purchasing it on release. Sucks.

To make things worse, FIFA ultimate teams, coins, and stats all transfer from PS3-PS4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One. So were actually going to be missing out by not purchasing it on release. Sucks.
Not sure how long a 'launch window' is. Perhaps a quarter?
Some launch games will have Kinect functionality (Forza 5, Ryse, think I read BF4? etc) but they are optional not mandatory.
I pre ordered both next gen consoles from shop to as soon as they was available to do so. Not necessarily because I want both, just more as place orders whilst I decide what I'm going to do and I should hopefully get them on release for whichever I choose. I personally think it would be too late for a back up order now. Shop to have never let me down and I'm hoping with me getting my order in early, they won't now.
Isn't dr3 'better with kinect' also? I remember seeing you can shout out to attract the zombies attention, I'm not sure what else you can do with it though.

Yup, though the shouting to attract zombies is the only feature I've seen so far. I'm much more interested in the Smart Glass features, as my wife can be sat next to me on the iPad helping me out while I'm playing the game. That's a whole new level of awesome right there.
Same here. My wife loves to watch me play story driven games (TLoU, uncharted etc) but she doesn't really play them. Be very cool if she could assist/help via Smartglass. Really looking forward to seeing what they come up with in the future.
I've got one at Game and one at ShopTo both done on the night they became available. Primarily because I just didn't get the preorder process on ShopTo. It just seemed too easy. based on previous launches, I sure I will be able to shift the second one easily if I end up with them both by mistake.
I'm tempted to stay away from Ultimate Team this year. Pretty certain I've said that before...
Impossible lol, no matter how much it frustrates me, and how many sweaty ***** I come across I always go back to it.

I seem to get sucked into FUT every other year, so Fifa 14 is scheduled to be my year away from FUT, which suits me fine. The Xbox One controllers are too expensive to break

My wife is awesome for games. She once sat next to me with a complete list of all 100 ingot that needed to be found in Fallout 3: The Pitt, and guided me through the entire level while I collected all 100 of them. Saved me so much time!I'm trying to find a wife just for this

LOL, this FUT after spending £200 on it and realising that good players do just as good if not worse than the "bad" players made me sell my team to try cut my losses and i havent played it in months. This is the worst FUT i've played and the first i've actually stopped. That said im stoked for FUT 14 and i see it being so much better.
Fifa is a strange thing, I'm generally a calm and cool kind of guy but I've broke 2 360 pads this year through sheer rage of someone coming back from 4-0 down in the 90th minute then running the full length of the pitch doing the ssshhhhh celebration.

As much as i initailly disliked a few of the polices, the price and the slight spec disadvantage, I cant realistically get a PS4 as for me the game I want most is Forza 5. Couple that with the other game I want most being a FPS (BF4) and the fact i personally dislike the control stick layout Sony use.
I dont see much of a option, Hey, i can always swap mid gen if need be.

My wife calls me a noob and takes the controller off me, in fact im going to be struggling to get access to the xbox one as shes already decided that shes playing BF4 on the xbox and I can go back to my room and play on the PC.......
Pad and tablet gameplay could however be very fun on xbox if you can get in the same game, commander mode in BF4 isnt going to be that simple is it. The division however could be very fun.
This is pretty much my dilema, out of the games announced so far the only exclusive I want it Forza, the rest are all multi plats. Mine is further pushed by friends, few work colleagues, brother, brother in law and nephew all getting PS4's.
Here's hoping on release all PS4's have a major problems leading to a recall making everyone switch to XBOnes so I don't have to be a loner
