**XBOX ONE** Official Thread

Anyone know where to preorder a launch one with forza (still open?)

Is anyone else worried about the noise from the consoles? Hopefully the big physical size of the Xbox One will make the fans bigger and thus quieter (my 360 old elite is dreadfully loud..)

Tried logging in with your username? My shopto account keeps changing back to an old email I had registered with them, I keep changing it to the new one but for some reason every now and then it reverts back to my old one :\ So I guess try your old email if you had a different email registered with them.

Exactly what happened, my account had reverted to an old email, bizarre :confused:

Forza 5 day one editions still seem to be available on there for anyone wanting to swap.

Nope. I've seen reports of the Xbox One being so quiet they were unsure just from listening whether it was actually on or not. I'm sure it'll ramp up a touch when gaming, but everything I've read suggests it'll be very very quiet.

I or someone should probably tell them, keep forgetting xD, oh also in that case it has most likely sent emails to that address in the time it's been like that. Always confused me when I couldn't find an email in the filtered folder :p

It's only just done it today, luckily I had a redirect from the old email to my current one anyway :p
 
Surely it depends what market that ad is aimed at? Maybe they have different ads for different market segments?

Fanboys find a new thing to whine about with MS every day. Who cares about a flipping ad?

I agree with you completely but if that's the way MS want to pitch this thing to capture people interested in the NFL or TV or whatever then fine, that's their call (and none of it interests me btw). They've made a huge investment there so why wouldn't they advertise it? I'm sure there will be other ads related to games down the line.
 
The ads aimed for the NFL games on TV,
You think if XBox one was putting a TV add out in the UK it wouldnt dump it at half time on a big football match and put FIFA front and center.

NFL is a huge target market in the US, hell i wouldnt mind getting half of it here as it so far looks very well done, i just pray they could do something like that with footy and Sky here in the UK or UEFA, or formula one.

Sky do a great job with there coverage of sport but this stuff is a natural step forward.
