The pass through thing has got progressively worse, coming to the point when its not worth using anymore, for the Xbox in the living room if i didn't have to pull all the cables and TV unit out i would have done it already but they are boxed in and i cant be arsed.

Will deal with it next time go back there, or if i get Sky Q. My One X is going in my office so no need to re-cable.

I only use mine for nintendo switch, allows me to view stuff on Xbox at same time.

Everyone getting 4k updates? Few people I know are getting different updates for games.

I've only got one for Gears 4 so far it seems, its the only game that shows up on the Xbox One X list anyway, I've got quite a few more from the list that was published.

Forza 7 got a big update and shows "Scorpio" is the do the RB+LB+View button thing

Other than that I don't think so yet. I hope they dont leave it too late based on SOW on PC its going to be a lot of GB (around 50gb of 4k assets

I don't think gears 4 got update yet? It's just a bug?

Saw something about people deleting games and redownloading them will show up with 'x' upgrade but it's wrong?

Having downloaded Ghost Recon:Wildlands to play over the free weekend it listed "Xbox-Scorpio" assets being installed. Not usually since it is one of the 130 X enhanced games. However Assassin's Creed: Unity also listed Scorpio assets which was pretty surprising. Now thinking the X enhanced support will be far bigger than the 130 games currently listed especially since Battlefield 1 is rumored to be supported at launch and it isn't on the 130 game list. THere is also nothing Activision is listed i.e. CoD, Destiny2. Microsoft made a big thing that it was pretty easy for the devs.

I'm not too fussed it games are not ready to update yet, I hope its not a patch on the X release day though.

Yeah I have decent FTTP but the servers will bet getting hammered

I just wish MS had a game releasing with the console (or a game period I guess...).

They should have waited and released Forza 7 at the same time, but as it stands I've already played that and bored of it... it will look better on the X but the game will be no better.

I've held off buying Shadow of War just so I have something new to play on it.... may do the same with Assassins Creed although I wasn't going to get that.

How do you get these patches? did a quick Google but keeps bringing up the same article and not a ELI5.

If it's anything like the PS4 then they will update when you either install the game on the X or when you launch it.

Wrong, need pre view dashboard, system, backup and transfer, enable 4k downloads

Didnt they push the dashboard update to everyone this weekend?
I know some friends got it but maybe they are just in a slower ring than me, I know my Beta and Alpha machines are on the same version now.
Maybe they are on Release candidates now.

I have Forza 7 that I preordered digitally, forgot all about it as I have no console to play it yet, but have had been thinking if its possible to get a refund on games that have not been downloaded or played yet?
Basically have had 2nd thoughts about it, and wish to pick it up at a later date for cheaper.

You can refund any digital game with less then 2hrs play time. Just login to Microsoft site request refund

Same system steam are using.

Assume you mean if you are getting patches now and doing a system transfer?

I will just install what I want on the XboneX (not do a transfer) so assumed it would automatically install any updates?

Also has to be within 14 days of purchase IIRC.

Great, just chatted and got full refund, unsure when Forza 7 was released but preordered in August waiting for the X to come along so had not played it at all.
