How's the HDR?
I guess switching between native and adaptive resolution on the fly will make the difference more apparent. I think this style of game would be perfectly playable at 30fps, I assume games like assassins creed origins etc are 30 too?

I only say that as I can't really tell the difference in shadow of war. I should have said that.

Rise of the Tomb Raider and Assassins Creed: Origins are both highly regarded X Enhanced titles. I've got Wolfenstein 2 and Titanfall 2, both have X patches and look great.
New... a friend won it in work and didn't want it.
Wasn't going to get one but couldn't resist at £300

Its an Icy Dock USB3.0 and UASP OCUK always seem to have bad stock on caddies so i got it elsewhere, I guess they arent big sellers for them, that or they are always just sold out. You can just buy a generic Chinese make one if your not worried about how the box looks, I wanted a nice black aluminium looking one so i paid a little more. they all use the same generic controller chip pretty much.

Had my first crash today on my 1x whilst playing Rise of the Tomb Raider. As I was transitioning from one area to another (when she climbs under a low beam) the sound went into a repeat loop and she was locked in a forward movement control pad stopped working. Just pressed the power button on the console and it turned off OK. Turned on OK and took a while to boot but seems to be working OK again now.

I won £528 on football bets last night so I've treated myself to the Tesco deal; Xbox One X plus Forza 7, COD WW2, Wolfenstein 2, Evil Within 2 and PUBG for £469.99. I've got PUBG already so I'll sell the code, I'll probably sell the new controller as well and take my old Xbox to CEX to get £68 cash (or sell it locally). I've only got a 1080p TV so I'll need to look into getting that replaced soon.

. I think around £300 for a one X is when I'll end up giving in and buying one. It's a shame not to as I've got the decent TV for it (even tho the S is fine as most of what I do on it ie netflix..)
