I could be wrong but I swear I heard vanilla witcher saves can't be used with the GOTY version and vice versa, have a Google I could be wrong but I recall hearing something about saves being tied to the vanilla or complete version.
You can jump in to the dlc with a prelevelled Geralt with good armour etc and spend the talent points as you wish

Not sure about xbox but I did the same on PS4 and my saves didnt work.
Something to do with the standard game and the GOTY version technically being different products and the saves do not port over to GOTY.
Seems you're both correct. Shame really as it's something done with other games, especially those GOTY editions which are the base game plus codes. However, it's not a massive issue, the game is excellent and I think I'd enjoy playing through again making different choices, especially with the ladies... But maybe I will just jump into the DLC pre-levelled.
I'd say about 10 days or so. They go to Germany for repair.

I'm loving replaying it. I'm going to make him 'plough' Triss this time I think.
Been playing 4k mode and it feels great, 60fps isn't necessary for this sort of game imo

Anyone played Dark souls 3 on xb1x at all? Tempted to grab the complete version. Have the base game on pc but no dlc. Not sure how it will compare as it was silky smooth on there, but I'm loving witcher 3 at 30fps so not really an issue? Just wonder if the X has offered a boost in anyway
I'm getting mixed results with my console since getting it back from Germany. If I turn it off at the wall when I've finished using it, I get no errors and it'll play ok next time I turn it on. If I leave it plugged in and restart I get errors and games won't start or will launch and then black screen. Had one freeze during a save. I'm enjoying fallout 4 too much to do anything about it but worrying every time I turn it on is obviously not ideal.
This is one thing I’m getting really annoyed about with the console. It doesnt ever seem to be truly off. The PS4 Pro will turn off and I always made sure to be off before turning off at the wall.
The Xbox however I have to make sure it’s in power save mode and then turn off, wait a few minutes, the disc spins up then stops and only then is it totally off I assume as the fans stop spinning in the system also...
I want to be able to turn the console totally off quickly without going into settings and going to the turn off menu.
Normally I wait five minutes before turning it off at the wall in energy saver mode, this applied to my old One as well. This seemed to be after a firmware update a while back basically you turn it off then it seems the machine keeps going for a while although the power light is not illuminated then the external drives power up for a second as does the blu ray drive then it finally shuts down. A total pain in the arse! To alter a shampoo advertising phrase I just want to turn off and go!
You can hold the power button for approx 10 seconds to full turn off.
Will give that a go in future! I turn off all my AV equipment at the wall as it has quite a large draw for doing nothing when on standby.
Don’t want to trash the hard drive!
