With my fault on the X, I basically told them what the issue was and that I had tried everything to fix it, then I basically asked to have an advanced exchange.
I bought the extra warranty cover a while back as well, think its called Complete cover.
 
Probably been mentioned a million times but Sunset Overdrive is available from Game for £8 for anyone that has not played it.
 
hi guys , wonder if i could ask a question

getting a one x to replace my xbox and have still yet to pull the trigger on a 4k tv because it seems unless you got a grand to spend you may aswell forget it :( for hdr

just how important is hdr and do any of you use tvs around the 500-600 quid mark where they are actually not that bad and people around the net are just being picky ?

would a decent 4k set without hdr be better ? or do i just keep my 1080p set
 
Sunset overdrive was also a games with gold game about a year ago (doesn't help new users I appreciate!). The game is quite good, but not hugely memorable.

Save up some more and get a decent HDR set as it is quite stunning.
 
so my xbox live sub was due to expire in a couple of days. was all set to pay £39.99 for 12 months via the console, however when it came to it I only said £26.99 as there appeared to be a deal on at the moment.. :) happy days
 
Guys is it worth me getting an Xbox X yet? I still have a 1080 Plasma screen which i am happy with. What does do my head in though, is the loading times on my original xbox one, Games like PUBG take an age to load the buildings/guns whilst in-game.

Will these problems be gone with the Xbox X? Im still using one of the first xbox ones.

Loading times in general should be improved but results will vary.

Whether it would make a difference with the specific issue you're seeing in PUBG i'm not sure, I doubt it, that sounds like lag?
 
Na, its not lag as i can happily run around with others lag free whilst its happening. From landing it takes about 30 seconds for the houses to load up. Just looks like a pixelated blob. Once loaded i can go into the house then have to wait another 30seconds for the furniture to load.

Deffently the xbox just being slow loading the game up properly.

A good upgrade is an SSD in an external usb 3.0 caddy. Pick up a 256Gb SSD 2nd hand, pop in a caddy and the games load significantly faster, even on base Xbox One, plus it's cheaper than going for a One X
