Xbox Scorpio

Just heard rumours of a possible Forza 7 reveal tonight launching with Scorpio or Xbox one X..... Forza in native 4K 60fps with HDR will be yummy........
 
Hmm see I get the pricing if it is £499, but for me that's a no goer. I play online or my Xbox more than my PC so this would be good to have but probably not for £499.

We aren't normal gamers here though, plenty don't have PCs.

They are thinking like that, they've already stated that the Scorpio is a Premium product, and not aimed at the average consumer. As long as they don't start releasing Scorpio exclusives then the two tier model can work for them. Once the price starts dropping then it will appeal to a larger audience.

No,they dont and that isnt what it is or meant to be. Same as the PSpro isnt for everyone, the scorpio isnt either. They have the average joe console out there already. 4k and aimed at everyone just dont go together.

Xbox one hasn't flopped though so it flopping I doubt worries them it's not like they have Wii u numbers sold, plus Microsoft have much more money than sony.

They are trying to sell a premium product...the idea that the only want 4k users to buy it is silly.

They are behind sony...by a mile. They will want to bridge that gap and this isnt going to do it. If anything it will make it wider as people head towards the ps4 pro.
 
It's not even officially been announced yet and people are writing it off...... lol

I think I'm the only one excited about it tbh...... :)

But it's not different to what sony did, sony told no 4k tv users a pro wasn't needed exactly as Microsoft have done.

Yes ps4 has more market share just as 360 did over ps3 but in time sony narrowed the gap, Microsoft needs games first.

Don't get me wrong I prefer sony this gen by a long shot however I think you have read the situation of Scorpio wrong and it's aimed audience
