In regards to the warranty. This is what happens when I click on contact us and select warranty. I tried a few random other options and they just point to online FAQ, Microsoft really really dont want people contacting them.

Note the background page also states its for america, canada, australia only.

Any news on future updates to the Xbox software ?

The game dvr needs a massive overhaul.

I've put my Series X crashes down to recording to a external HDD it just seen to cause the system to turn completely off at random time.

Friend sent me number, lady tried to add it, then paused and asked me where I got it from, then was told this is for microsoft store purchases only, I have never seen this bizarre behaviour from a manufacturer before where you have to buy direct from them to get the manufacturer warranty. I got told its impossible.

You got the number, I got it direct from MS?

Yeah hopefully someone can confirm, the only other controllers I own that do this are cheap £10 one's.

Yeah D-pad is click on controller (series X) I like it like that actually, the noise doesn't bother me. I like the reassuring click it emits when you press, not like the flaccid older pads, nobody likes flaccid ;)

You do get the manufacturer warranty from them.

You just seemingly can't add Microsoft's own extended warranty to it.

regardless, it would appear that this is still not available for the series x anyway.

This is the legal retail warranty, not an additional manufacturer warranty. If we was still in EU it would have been 2 years e.g. For some reason Microsoft dont seem keen on backing up this hardware with a decent warranty. I have contacted a few youtubers to see if they will make some noise on it. if everyone just waits they may come out with "you didnt order it in time"

Well, if it is a retail warranty, surely MS can set their own terms to it?

Regardless, it is probably best to wait a little longer. It seems a lot of people are being told that they are aware and are going to make it available to purchase (hopefully trough the MS store on the console - currently says something failed)

Technically you have 45 days, so i'm going to wait it out until early/mid December before contacting them i think.

I like them ;) if thats what the 360 is using, what is the ps4 using? that has "some" noise but its an acceptable level.

When I press my 360 dpad its easy to tell its pressed, it has a clicky "feeling" but doesnt have the click noise.

I guess if you no longer own a 360 controller like I do, its harder to understand the drop in quality. As you cant do a live comparison.

Oh I've still got the older 360 pad wired to my PC, but that feels a bit wishy washy to me, but that might be down to age and wear and tear after years of use. My PS4 doesn't have that reassuringly nice click either.

Do you have documentation for the 45 days, I dont mind waiting if I know its coming and the time limit is that long, I read its 14 days somewhere.

My Series X warranty now has the date as 13/11/21, has anyone managed to buy the £39 complete warranty yet? I want that extra controller cover!

Next it will be comments on the size.

OMG. IT LOOKS HIDEOUS :p

I have noticed that my SX warranty has updated to end 11/11/21 rather than a year from the pre-order date. In addition, the One X that I removed from my account has reappeared...

Can anybody help me with sub 50" TVs that have VRR please? It seems that manufacturers don't included features like 120hz and VRR on the smaller versions of their sets, even if the 55" has it. I simply cannot fit anything bigger than about 49" in (ooooer!).

Very have pushed my delivery date to "before 2nd December" absolutely gutted.

I wonder if they even have stock as its been "being packed" for 4 days now?!?
