No, I ended up with the turtle beach 700 gen 2s. There was a thread in the console section here where I think some did.

Not sure I’d trust anyone other than MS tbh.
 
People need to stop worrying about the launch title performance, the Dirt devs have already said there is a patch coming soon that fixes all the issues. Xbox dev tools were late coming to the party with all the RDNA2 feature set.
 
I just rang amazon and asked outright if they would provide extended cover.

They said they offer a product but eligibility is on date of purchase "not" date of delivery and I dont qualify, however they told me I have a 2 year amazon warranty and they said they will put it in an email for me. (website says returns accepted until jan 2021 which is 1 year and a bit).

I think the best we going to get, it feels like its all a bit of a sham, and people may end up relying on consumer rights to force through repairs after a year.

Well, Jedi Fallen Order is bugged out for me. Whenever I try and fly to the second or third planet, there's an audio glitch and I get stuck in a black room with a health bar and some VFX...can't do anything.

Quitting to menu and reloading, I have to play through 5 minutes to get to the same point, then sit through 5 minutes of unskippable dialogue....then it bugs out again.

It's an OK game but I'm not starting the damn thing again to end up stuck in this bug loop :/

Yes, I have a lg led tv, which I bought just after launch of the xbox one. The tv has got a optical port but I have never used it and plugged directly into the console.

I'm actually having screen problems at the minute, if I have got time next weekend I will do a factory reset, set it all back up and then try the optical of the tv. It's randomly turning off and sometimes I get black blotches, the other night a huge one about a 1/4 size of the screen appeared, but then disappears. Think I will be looking at a new tv soon, although it might even be the Xbox with the problem?

Brilliant. Well worth getting the Dolby Atmos app, it adds a lot. The sound is rich, brilliant positioning, decent bass, very comfortable for me. They switch off with the Xbox too. Great having them pair up to my phone at the same time. Battery life is crazy good, some people have measured 30 hours.

I sometimes got crackly sound on some games like AC - seems to have resolved that.

Activated my trial of Dolby Atmos to give that a go. Has sent everything mental since changing my audio settings. I can get the TV audio back, but through headphones it is either mental distortion or it cuts out every second. And once it has done that for long enough, it crashes the Xbox with it....

Eventually, got it back to how it was. That's one weird issue.

What’s the recommended headset for the xbox series X,

Was using my AirPod pro as I had sold my other headset but naturally want something dedicated for it.

Budget wise anything goes but would rather get what was actually well rated rather than just pay for brand, recommendations?

The stealth 700 gen 2 seems to be out of stock a lot of places as was looking at that before

not used my 700’s yet, how did you update them mate?
