I’m thinking about getting it for my series x. Only thing that concerns me is lack of 4K though. For anyone wondering about the Dell S2721DGF, it's brilliant for the Xbox.

The fact that it’s not a 4K screen. You mean 4k input or the fact its not a 4k screen? If its the former its not such a deal on the xbox as it can output at 1440p by itself.
Ultimately the dell is better for the xbox as it has the 120hz VRR hdmi support for those who like high refresh rates, whilst the LG version is better for PS users as it can downscale 4k res to 1440p. I own both brand of consoles, and I am not really someone who is that bothered about high refresh rates, especially on console games, so I went with the LG.
What is something i always found silly about the monitor industry is the weird refresh rates used, 100hz seems a weird max limit, and 144hz never made sense at all. Apparently e.g. a lot of monitors cannot choose a 120hz VRR mode over display port. These consoles are really highlighting how bad the monitor sector has got as tv's are killing it.

The thing is I have a C9 oled in my living room which I could hook my series x up to if I really wanted to. But one is be fighting with the missus over the tv lol, she would want to watch it when I like to game ie evening and on the weekends, during the day etc.
Right now I haven’t connected it up, but in my room where my one x is, I have a 32” Samsung lcd screen. Nothing amazing in all honesty, it’s a 720p screen lol. So yeh it’s old as hell but it’s lasted me this long from brand new. Cost me £800 new I think. So the max size I could fit in my room is 32”.
But I haven’t seen anything that is catching my eye unless you have some recommendations?? At some point me and the missus will be moving out of my mums house and get a place of our own. Looking at some places at the moment and I have plans to make a man cave so probably at that time I’ll be looking to get a massive oled screen.
But right now I’m confused about which screen to get to tide me over till I get a bigger screen in an oled flavour.
Yeh at the moment I’m about 2-3ft away when playing.Don't forget to factor in your viewing distance.

The screen kept loading up in 640x resolution. Turns out the HDMI cable I bought was rubbish, has been fine since I went back to the original. Its a bit tight though.

I had the same issue with a portable monitor, this video was a god send
Can this monitor really be had for £280 ??
Will games update themselves for series X versions or will I have to go looking for them specifically?
