Well, in the worst kept secret since the new Fable was unveiled a few months ago, The Initiative's first game has just been revealed to be... Perfect Dark :D:p

I never really got on with Perfect Dark on the N64. Goldeneye soaked up so much of my life as a youth. By the time PD came out it just didn't
have the same impact for me. It was good and I loved the gadgets and the MP was ok but just not quite goldeneye.

Now that I've finished playing Gears 5 and have done a full exit of the game... my Series X is behaving when put in to standby mode. No more endless fan spinning. Interesting.

Really impressed with the speed of updates on the insider program on the beta ring.

Glad I joined now.

Quick resume seems to be working slot better

Which is exactly why they are entirely pointless, look at the original trailers for NMS and Cyberpunk, the reality is quite different. Even the gameplay footage of CP from 2 years ago is unlike the game at launch.

I agree they’re pointless, but so is your comparison :p

Is Skyrim still worth bothering with? I've never played it but the fact it still pops up now 8 years later suggests something must be pretty decent!

Yeah, it's still a good adventure. I guess it keeps popping up simply because there is no Elder Scrolls VI yet. :p

I am on the gamma build now, I see the changelogs are a bit more full.

I plan to move all my internal games to external when I go bed, then when I go back on it tomorrow do full factory reset to get the 20 gigs back, and then move it back and set stuff up again, the good news is when you have external storage you can backup your account and settings allowing for a faster setup.

OK seriously WTF.

Do these controllers have a serious design flaw or have i just got unlucky (maybe its because i play racing games?)

i had to send the controller i got with the machine back for a replacement to MS because the right trigger started to get sticky/stuck, and so i ordered a second from Amazon as i wanted a 2nd anyway and it would tide me over and now that one from Amazon has started doing the exact same thing after a couple of weeks!!

All my 360 controllers must be coming up to 15 years old now and still all work. Including my Elite. I have a parts bin of Xbox one controllers due to dodgy triggers and sticks. I ended up Frankensteining two controllers together. Another one the range is about 1 meter so really needs to be plugged in to work and another bricked itself during an update and only works off a cable. Quality of controllers have gone down a lot over the years. I have also had to repair two headsets because the cables are made out of cheese and because they are wrapped in cotton are a nightmare to solder back together.

Series X look to be the same which is a shame.

I think these new controllers might have a design flaw in the right trigger. Seems like the adhesive pad behind the trigger works itself lose or moves and causes the trigger to stick. Just read lots of others having the same issue on reddit.

Cant believe that both mine have done it though!
