I've got HDR off, playing on a Series X with a Benq EX2780Q @ 1440p 120hz and it's also only HDR400. Colours look fine to my old untrained eyes.

You buy 3 years of normal xbox live gold subscription as cheap as you can, then use the upgrade to ultimate for £1, so you get 3 years of ultimate for the price of 3 years of normal xbox live
 
Having just got the Series X yesterday was trying to find a way of getting sound from it to my PC like with my PS4 without an optical out.

I've just ran an aux cable from my monitor sound output to my line in on my sound card and set it to "listen" in windows, seems to work so I can at least hear stuff until I get a nice new headset albeit the quality is far from good but at least I can play games now.

At least I can talk on discord on the pc now and watch youtube/films while playing.

Might have to invest in an audio extractor until I find a headset I like.
 
Hey guys, has anyone had any issues with UHD discs or Blu rays on their series x? Having a strange issue where the screen will randomly go black and the sound still plays, when it goes black I can press the Xbox button and the dashboard tab displays fine but the rest of the screen remains black, clearly some messed up software bug. Tried restarting console / deleted Blu ray app and rest of the console and still getting the same issue. Using it on an LG CX, even tried another HDMI cable, never have any issues with games.

Just got there, its very clever :) - wasn't expecting that at all. I only recently twigged why the game feels familiar, its made by Respawn and has a feel of Fallen Order that was also excellent.

It’s a developer made up of the only decent developers of the Call of Duty franchise.

It’s a shame the series didn’t really take off.
