Sorry can't say, mine was a pre order for launch day, which arrived on the day thank god. I also got a PS5 from very, all I can say is they are great and you have got one. Fingers crossed you get it sooner.

Thanks, I'm pretty excited considering I'm nearly 40 just need to decide on a monitor now

Any tips on gamepass on the cheap please? Don't need live just yet got a few SP games to play

The new wireless headset's are available for pre-order on the the rainforest for £84.99.

I've just pre-ordered mine, if it's not excellent i'll just return it after a couple of weeks.

That's a pretty good price if i'm honest and if it turns out to be a keeper and real good quality then it's even more worth it.

Live and Gamepass go hand in hand, i'd say check out the Ultimate thread on here for prices.

I thought Xbox series s/X did not support Bluetooth headsets? The new official one works via Bluetooth with mobile phones so am wondering how it connects to an Xbox? Via Bluetooth or some propriety wireless protocol?

It's like the Wireless Adapter for PC but built inside the Series X/S & One etc.

Bluetooth is purely to connect to a phone like all the other higher end headsets seem to have and do.

My TB Stealth 700 Gen 2 connects the same way.

I thought gamepass was purely to access the games library and Live is seperate for online play and Ultimate combined the two.

Have I got that completely wrong?

Not completely wrong, although there are 4 things to choose from.

Standard Xbox live gold = Just for online play, plus up to 4 free games per month

Xbox Game pass Console= Seperate to Live, includes the library of games to choose from, although if you want to go multiplayer with any of them you'll need Gold

Xbox Game pass PC = Same as game pass but only includes PC library of games

Xbox Game pass Ultimate = Includes, Xbox Live Gold, Xbox Game pass for console and Xbox game pass for PC

At the moment it's actually cheapest to just get up to 3 years Xbox Gold, then convert to Ultimate for £1 though. Rather than just getting Xbox game pass for console on its own.

Thanks for the explanation it made more sense to me than when I was reading Microsoft's website

OOOoo  Look forward to see what other games they can get to hit 60fps, then it'll be another nail in the PC gaming coffin for me. Hoping RDR2 will get a 60fps mode.
I bought RDR2 cheap before xmas but hanging on for 60fps patch ( if it ever comes ). I'm already very late to the party on the game so a few more months won't hurt, got tons to play in the meantime.

Sadly I suspect they’ll charge for the enhanced edition.

That look good, looking forward to more games getting the upgrade.

They should give Half-Life 2 a 60fps upgrade to go with the 4k + auto HDR. I would make time to play through the whole game again.

I’m not sure I can play it through many more times :p

:o Any TV suggestions around £1000 is that possible?
What is everyone using?

My LG 27 inch :) dont really care for 120hz, or dolby vision.

Spending a grand on a tv doesnt compute in my head. :)

Update on controller, the battery charger I got which someone on here suggested to me remains problematic, I find I have to keep taking batteries in and out to get them charged otherwise it just keeps getting stuck and on average takes several hours. So I am finding myself just using the controller wired now, the batteries are ok just the charger sucks. If I do put any more money into it, it will be to get an actual charger pack which charges via the console not removable batteries.

Also my download speeds are fixed on the latest delta OS.

I am hoping fps boost is optional, as some games I feel are better at 30fps been more immersive.

A good Tv takes a giant turd on nearly every mainstream monitor on the market.

A 4k high end HDR screen makes a huge difference.

I dont understand the 30fps comment. I am happily playing 30fps games on my Ps4 Pro but 60 is significantly nicer.

e.

Which one do you use? I bought a pack of 8 EBL's and Charger for £18 on Amazon and they have been amazing and not had one problem.
