I own both but I barely use the Xbox. For me, Game pass is full of uninspired middle to low tier titles. I should add that I'm not a strong fan of FPS games, and in my opinion, that's what the best games on Game Pass typically are. If you are like me and prefer RPGs/JRPGs or action/adventure titles then I think the Playstation platform is a better fit. Perhaps in 2-3 years time that dynamic could change, if all the studios Microsoft recently bought start to churn out some quality games.I already own a PS5 but I'm seeing that Series X are back in stock in places. Would anyone be able to list a reason to switch or even own both? I'm thinking about Game Pass, is it a big advantage? Are there exclusive titles worth playing?
If I had game pass, would that be valid for Xbox and PC games both?
So, in short, if you like FPS, Game Pass ( and Xbox ) might be worthwhile for you. And yes, if you get Game Pass Ultimate ( not Gold ) it works for both PC and Xbox, with many games having cross-save features enabled across both platforms. But ... I don't think Game Pass is as good as many make out.
