Curious. If Microsoft released a brand new Xbox generation and so did Sony - would you stay with Xbox or switch to the Playstation?

If I had to choose I’d go PlayStation. Most of the same games are on PSplus, the exclusives are better and many of the Xbox games seem to migrate across. I’ll probably stick with a PC and PS combo going forward.

My problem is Id just be adding to my back catalogue by switching.

Currently on 50 hours of Stalker 2, with Indiana jones, Starfield and Avowed coming out. Quite fancy ReFantazio as well.

I'll just go back to PC if I ever switch again!

I had an elite series 2 controller but had to send it back due to problems and have got a refund. I'm wondering if there is another controller that is worth getting? Or should I just stick to the controller that came with the Xbox?

Anyone got a recommendation as an alternative to the stock controller? I like the overall size but it just feels a bit light compared to the switch pro pad which is a tiny gripe.

4k gaming is rather nice! (aware quite how late I'm to the party on this front)

You had a look at Scuff?

I had a look at the Instinct Pro and it looks good but it is even more expensive than the Elite Series 2. I'll keep looking around.
Very expensive indeed. The only problem with the Elite is that they break. From what I have seen online, it is only a matter of time.

Is anyone on here interested in their Gamerscore? I have just started getting back into chasing those sweet achievements again haha. What score have you lot got?

I've just checked mine and I'm just over 118,000 Gamerscore.
I used to always chase points back in the 360 days but not so much now. A game has to proper grip me to try and get them all

Yeh I was the same, went mad for it back in the early days but starting to get back into it again now. Some good YouTube videos showing guys getting real hard to get achievements and guides on how to get them all too.

Not really, especially when I noticed that many people with high scores were boosting via shovelware designed to give them 5000 points for 10 mins play. For me, that's made gamerscore redundant and pointless.

Yes I totally get that. I have been playing some of the free games on GamePass that I would never normally play but I find a bit more value now as I have enjoyed some of them that I would not normally have played. I am guilty of completing Bluey and Peppa Pig to get the 1000 points but I had my kids with me so I think I can justify it, even if I am 41 years old... :p

I used to be big into chasing gamerscore and playing some awful titles, I've got High School Musical 3 on my record and spent far too long playing that game as a 19 year old trying to unlock achievements than was healthy. These days I'm not as interested but I do like the pop you get from unlocking one.

Current gamerscore is 102,058 but I've been on Xbox since 2006 so not a large score compared to most.

It looks as though the embargo on avowed reviews dropped today on YouTube ACG & fightincowboy have reviews up both seem pretty positive. They are both on pc so hopefully the xbsx version is comparable. The game looks much better than I expected- I'm going to try and get a playthrough done when it gets released on gamepass on the 18th.
