*** XBOX SSF4 LEAGUE - Season 4 ***

From what little I have heard so far it seems like AE makes the game worse rather then better. But yeah, SSF4 now takes longer in Ranked Mode to find games.
 
lol. dont worry. MvC3 is a great game, im gonna play it more this weekend and practice, but its no way near the quality of ssf4 imo, sf keeps u coming back for more. once ae is released and the new characters are released, ppl will flock back to sf

also, the fact that combos go on for ages and u can literally kill a character with 1 combo reduces the appeal in mvc3 for me, but its great fun nonetheless (unless you have epilepsy)
 
There was an article on SRK about how Ono made AE intentionally unbalanced to help build "community and competetive spirit"... Just about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. I think MVC3 is gonna take over completely.

I really hope that isn't true. I'll have to try out MvC3 and see how I get on with it.
 
GGs to Jaguar Skills - I won 3-0.

Analysis: Jag, you really need to get that headbutt into ultra working, as during the match I just wasn't scared to take the headbutt damage. On my wakeup you noticed that I'd lp dp ON PURPOSE because your punish would just be a sweep into an unsafe jump, which I would dp and mix you up on a knockdown. Also you like to use lp jab on wakeup, which isn't good as frame-trapping characters would walk all over you. You also EX dash punch from full screen, which I punish easily. Just use that for escape situations where you can safely get away/

Other than that, no BS but you can get really good with him, just dial 0800-Conqueror Kenny and you will be fine

fingers crossed and praying that yupyupno doesnt get any games XD I really want that 8th spot because i cant get any more points to get any further up the table :(

btw i think i got 2 games left but im not on until like midnight during weekends because of work... i may be able to be on on sunday at like 3, but will be leaving just before 5 for work.

Sikkkkkkkkkkkkk games with vian (ssf hater) really high quality stuff. Ggs adz n meansf soz had to go, need to study for exam. My ryu improved miles playing u guys, that mp dp is an awesome anti air, I was hitting ryus links for a change

On to marvel, the epileptic mashfest, hulk is anoying

If you're talking about vian, then block at bit more against Hulk.
Empty jump (block) so that the anti-air H -> S, gets blocked, then punish. Same for on the ground. He can't hit confirm into launcher.

Cheers will try it. Am working on the basics at the mo, lol vian killed 2 of my chars in 10 seconds. Its a shame we cant spectate others playing

What I meant was that it doesn't seem possible for Hulk to confirm into launcher, rather than you not being able to.
It'll be deadly when you can gamma crush backwards on reaction to block.





And staying on topic..
