Holy god the menus are so clunky

Click on add unit for third mission, can't add any so it just sticks to that and no way to go back because they are all on missions, dire.

I'm really enjoying this.

I've bought tons of games recently and thought "meh" after an hour or so, but this is brilliant.

So I click on this add unit

59EE8E26C712646C91DFAD3D2C751EE5297083A4

and then get this and you can't click on any of them, can't hit back, escape etc. does nothing (mashed entire keyboard)

2C72EFBD232AA1BCF755B1B62B9AA603B7516C62

Really a design flaw this early that I can't complete my squad for the mission and have to force quit the game to get back?

I just purchased this yesterday (with the very handy 20% code on GMG) after some heavy convincing from a friend and I haven't looked back since. Absolutely brilliant game!! The tension when playing on ironman mode is also incredible. I've never really been too interested in these types of games but this has me completely hooked. Seems I've been missing out over the years!

Restart for me on Ironman. Terror level filled with Chryssalids wiped out all of my best men. Looked like we might have been able to hold it for a moment until a zombie swarm came dropping from the rooftops.

When your first encounter with a Berzerker (is that what they're called?) is a squad full of rookies, you know you're screwed. Decided to fast forward from there to see the defeat video and really wanted a better one with all the chaos in the streets etc.

Glaucus -- you mentioned building extra bases in other continents than your starting position, but I can't see the option to do that anywhere. How do you do it?

On Impossible I got a game over after 31 days.

Just letting you guys know :p

And I've played UFO and TFTD for years. The 4 soldier per mission limit killed me, because I'm used to packing a Skyranger with 10 soldiers and a tank.

Argh, downloaded this overnight and somehow have spent 14 hours playing it today. Was all going brilliantly on normal ironman until the last terror mission, my entire crack squad got wiped out. I feel like I've just lost a family member.

I've still not worked out this opening doors quietly thing. I position myself next to a door and press 'V' but nothing happens. Am I doing it wrong?

Nice, click on a downed man in multiplayer and you get stuck on him and can't select anything else for the remainder of the turn, very very buggy this game and clunky, the game is fun but its a sloppy job.

Keyboard controls are buggy. As in, they often don't work at all. Try left clicking with the mouse.

Anyone know a good way to make money and reduce costs? I've got to the point where I've started to see floaters, but my issue is that I can build a officers structure, but can't afford it, I can build some laser weapons but could only afford 1 laser sniper, I can build satellites to defend america (which all have 4 panic level) but I can't afford them or the interceptor for that area.

Perhaps I've just been unlucky with my abduction mission rewards and the council request rewards, but I'm having a real tough time due to lack of funds.

Anyone having issues with Shivs? I've had an Alloy Shiv and normal Shiv show up to be used, but it won't let me. Not being repaired or anything like that. Pretty much had them for a half a game year. Hover Shiv seems to be fine though, annoying bug.

I've got to say, I can't name my team again, after loosing Sarah Conner, Hans Gruber etc. I couldn't go on with the game :(

Have you looked through the grey market? I was having some money issues but it turned out I had quite a bit of stuff which I could just sell to gain quite a bit of cash. The game will tell you if the item has no research benefit and in that case you can just sell the items without worry. If you have a high number of items which are actually useful then you can still sell some of them if you are desperate.

Well i'm starting to get a lot of corpses I could sell, but I haven't researched them yet so I'm not sure how many I need to keep.

Yeah I was also wondering about this and thought I was being thick, it's not something you can do is it?

Loving the game so far, and glad I chose ironman as I know what I'm like for re-loading, and would have done so a few times! Only think annoying me is that I've already lost 2 countries and have a few more close to dropping out, yet have only failed one mission

That's my issue... there isn't much you can do about that without getting bases across the world. But that doesn't seem possible like it was in the original?

Ironman is the ONLY way to play, tbh.
