Xfx And Freesync

Very limited instructions with the monitor so im not sure
 
Looking on another forum, someone had the same problem.
Apparently they fixed it by uninstalling and re-installing the drivers. I'm guessing they mean the AMD drivers rather than any monitor drivers, but can't be 100% sure.

Might be worth a shot as it shouldn't take too long.

Sorry to hear that, I hope you get it sorted out, At least you know it's either a bad dp cable or software of some kind.

It is so annoying buying something new and it does not work, here's hoping you get to enjoy it.
 
Try removing the drivers and installing again, might be needed for it to pick up you have Freesync monitor.

Also what cable did you get was it DP 1.2a?? this is important.

Yep, uninstall the current drivers (using DDU http://www.wagnardmobile.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=149&sid=e338621d16194098ada9fdca59332956 )

It will ask to reboot into safe mode, let it, then install the latest Crimson 15.12 drivers from AMD.
