HI there
OcUK will be dealing with the RMA's soley for the 2yr warranty period XFX offers.
We don't want our customers to have to deal with propella heads who generally just reject product or upset the customer.
As such any customer who purchases from OcUK will deal with OcUK for RMA services who will endeavour to turn the order around within 7 days.
We have agreed RMA support package that allows us to turn any faulty XFX product around in a very quick period of time.
Whats the deal with the transfer of warranty to the 2nd Owner. Is it still valid buying from OcUK?
Always one of the selling points of buying XFX.
OCUK aren't always the cheapest around but it's this stellar service that makes it the only place to buy from!
[/kissass]
The XFX warranty is still present, so if the customer wishes to go down that route they can, but OcUK can give a better service for the 1st owner who actually purchased the card from ourselves.
I was under the impression the transferable warranty was limited to the USA? The European warranty terms make no mention of the double lifetime protection.
When I had my GTX I emailed XFX about this and they said it was applicable to the UK.
One of the problems with all warranties is the "Subject to change without notice"
Would be nice to get some clarification on this.
Thats USA customers only. So resale value of XFX is no higher unless you live in America.
Yes it would mate, Gibbo has said in the past that its not part of the Eurpeon warranty. I wonder becuase its missing from the Europe T&C's. Gibbo?
just been looking at the top model XXX Alpha Dog', and apart from the overclock, trying to work out why it ocsts a whopping £234.99???
It's demand.
yes i get the whole supply and demand thing, and the leg lifting that goes with it, but my point is what is so special about this card over the other <£200 oc editions, that warrants an extra £35. Good luck to the numpty heads who pay that.![]()
