XFX back on

HI there

OcUK will be dealing with the RMA's soley for the 2yr warranty period XFX offers.

We don't want our customers to have to deal with propella heads who generally just reject product or upset the customer.

As such any customer who purchases from OcUK will deal with OcUK for RMA services who will endeavour to turn the order around within 7 days.

We have agreed RMA support package that allows us to turn any faulty XFX product around in a very quick period of time.

Whats the deal with the transfer of warranty to the 2nd Owner. Is it still valid buying from OcUK?

Always one of the selling points of buying XFX.

The XFX warranty is still present, so if the customer wishes to go down that route they can, but OcUK can give a better service for the 1st owner who actually purchased the card from ourselves.

OCUK aren't always the cheapest around but it's this stellar service that makes it the only place to buy from!

Tis truth. Example is I bought a motherboard from a competitor company it was faulty so Ive sent it back. 2 MONTHS on I still dont have the motherboard back...

Same thing happened with OCuK got it all sorted within a week, and I did the mistake of leaving my TT backplate on my old mobo and that was returned within afew days aswell!!

I was under the impression the transferable warranty was limited to the USA? The European warranty terms make no mention of the double lifetime protection.

When I had my GTX I emailed XFX about this and they said it was applicable to the UK.

One of the problems with all warranties is the "Subject to change without notice"

Would be nice to get some clarification on this.

Yes it would mate, Gibbo has said in the past that its not part of the Eurpeon warranty. I wonder becuase its missing from the Europe T&C's. Gibbo?

Thats USA customers only. So resale value of XFX is no higher unless you live in America.

HI there

You'd need to check with XFX but the double lifetime warranty last time I spoke with them was USA customers only, if they do it for someone in the UK then they have either changed the rules are were just kind to you.

It's demand.

yes i get the whole supply and demand thing, and the leg lifting that goes with it, but my point is what is so special about this card over the other <£200 oc editions, that warrants an extra £35. Good luck to the numpty heads who pay that.

Hi there

I too wondered that when setting up this card. The other overclocked cards are just better value, simple as that. The Zotac AMP is quicker and cheaper, therefor the better buy. The BFG OC2 are as quick, better warranty and much cheaper and as such the one too buy.

I suspect XFX will revise the pricing considering that other partners have faster product for less money.
