Xpert Eleven - Online Football Management Game

We need to wait and see what Clark Nova's opinion on this is.

There is a section of the rules which refers to situations such as these and the xpert11 crew look harshly on it. I hope we can sort this out ourselves though or it could mean getting Clark in trouble as well. To be honest I would have mailed them already but I'm worried about what these punishments they hint at are. I don't want to see anyone and certainly not the admin losing their accounts.

Unless there's evidence of account sharing (which there isn't, and there is no suggestion of) then the X11 admins won't be interested. In the private leagues they'll just view it as something for the league admin to deal with as they see fit. As the admin has approved the transfer then it's a done deal.

Whilst I can't see any reason for the seller of the players to have loaned these particular players out for basically no money I also don't have an issue with player loans in principle. However I don't think it's fair for the relatively few VIPs in the league (of which I am one) to be able to do this when the majority can't and agree that as soon as is possible the players should be returned and then direct transfers turned off. In the meantime the league admin should decline all direct transfers.

This isnt the only time ive noticed direct transfers of players between clubs either for small fees.

But regardless, im content to struggle on with my 2 rating 19 year old youth offers safe in the knowledge that im competing on an equal level as the majority of others!

Ok, well the way I see this transfer is this. I had a good look at the transfer, both of the IPs were very different, different accounts etc. If the two teams had agreed a transfer which the seller had stipulated was to be a loan and nothing else then so be it. I've been in other leagues where such loans take place and there aren't big problems but perhaps fairer prices for the players should have been made and then sold back at the end of the loan period.

I'm reluctant to turn off the option for VIP transfers. After all, people who pay for the VIP option do so in order to gain the extra stats and features such as this. Would it be fair to deny them this feature because non-VIP players weren't happy about it being used?

Perhaps it would be fair for VIP tranfers to only take place when at least 50% of players market value is paid. In hindsight, I don't think I should have approved the transfer of these players and so I think they ought to be sold back to their original team for their original price OR the buyer pay a fair price for them. It's pretty clear that the rest of the league would like to see something similar happen. I can only apologise for approving the transfer in the first place. In short, let's see the transfers completed fairly and a fair price paid for the players.

Perhaps I could make a 250k offer for the players in question and I will take the loss on the money in tranfers and then they can go back to the original team for 500k so no further losses are made by either teams.

Any suggestions? Would people be happy about this?

Just to point out that the only 2 people who have suggested turning off direct transfers are both VIP. As far as I've noticed none of the non-VIPs have asked for this.

I am in agreement with kaiowas in that as the majority of the league aren't VIP members then direct transfers should be turned off. As to returning the players I don't really mind personally. As I have said earlier in the thread I even attempted to purchase 1 player myself when I saw what great deals Kilbernie got. In hindsight I wish I hadn't been tempted, I don't want to win that way.

Ok, well if people really want the VIP option turned off then I will look into doing so. Of Kilburnie and Devils Red have a loan agreement going then they need to look into returning the players from whence they came otherwise they will not be able to return them at a later date.

I wasn't aware of it. I haven't paid for it - if people want to pay for this kind of thing then I don't want to ask for it to be taken away else they've wasted their money.

It does make it uneven footing though.

Most of the advantages of VIP don't give you any tangible benefit in the game. In my opinion direct transfers are the one case where VIP gives you the opportunity to buy an advantage which isn't something I particularly want.

The only reason I paid for it was to be allowed to join more leagues sooner as the OcUK league was starting a new season and I wasn't quite going to build up enough league quota in time.

you kind of contradict yourself clark, you acknowledge that no foul play was involved, and that this sort of thing happens in other leagues, that direct transfers are enabled therefore this sort of thing can happen, yet because some people want the transfer reversed then the players should be returned.

the way i see it is that direct transfers are enabled until the end of the season.
we have a vote and if the majority want direct transfers turned off then they are for next season.
the players i have on loan from devils red are either returned at the end of the season or i will buy a crappy player from devils red for the price we agree on for the two players plus an additional £750,000 to cover the money lost during direct transfers.

Gah another defeat for me. Five games without a win now.

Need to get my butt in gear for the second half of the season.

I would prefer for the players to be returned now and direct transfers turned off immediately.

I can understand you not wanting to do this, because you've done very well out of it.

Lost 2-1 away from home. Worst thing was that the '10' midfielder that I signed during the week was injured on his debut and is out for the rest of the month :(

LOL, I put my kids out against All Good Things and got a draw, the only thing that happened in the game was a booking!

Well played kaiowas, I dont think I will be using 4-5-1 again. Things have certainly just got interesting in division 3.

Was a bit worried when I missed a penalty at 1-1 but it all turned out well :D I went into these 2 games with the intention of taking at least 4 points so I'm happy.

Would be nice if this division actually meant something but as it stands if all the inactive teams get booted at the end of the season we'll most likely all end up in division 2 anyway.

division 3 really is looking really interesting, im gutted i missed out on an opportunity to close the gap and only managed a 2-2 draw away from home against an unmanaged team. got the new league leader kaiowas next, need to hope my leaky defence stops shipping goals.
