haha this is exactly it.

This is cheating, there is no If's or But's about it, those two arent scrub youngsters, they are his best players.

I doubt its done much in other leagues either considering young players need 3 games tops to get 100% experiance and theres no way they are going to get 16+ form from a poor team unless they are perma trained each week which is a huge money sink, no top team is going to risk their 6+ skill sub 19 year olds development on a rubbish team and or manager. Besides it doesnt work in a league like ours because any player with 6+ rating is a superstar at the moment with all teams having roughly the same squads aside from signings, so you signing two players for next to nothing is downright bs.
 
whatever, i dont need to justify myself, the transfer was authrorised, the players are on loan until the end of the season, the accounts belong to two different people, the payment details belong to two different people, the ips, mac addresses etc, hence why transfer was approved by the league admin, the players get bought outright at the end of the season or returned, complain all you like thats how it is, if you want the players make the guy a better offer than me, or go wave your e-peen somewhere else.
 
Yes, you do need to justify yourself, else you'll end up playing this game on your own.

I'd prefer you to get booted rather than have to leave myself, but I won't play a game with cheats.
 
So from what i've read, a team has sold another team it's 2 best players for a pittance on an agreement between the 2 teams that he'll sell them back / buy them next season? I fail to see the benefit for the selling team tbh.
 
Simple solution is just to sell them back to the other team now for the same amount and then the admin can un-tick the direct transfers in the league settings. That way it can't happen again.

There is no benefit. As pointed out it would be similar to Rooney and Ronaldo being farmed out to Derby or Sunderland in terms of the stature of the players within the team.
 
Even if this was a legit deal and the seller was just very dumb and wanted to get rid of players, i still can see no logical conclusion to what hes done. He either wants to sell his best players and make some money, or he wants to get rid ( like he said) of players and start with younger ones. Neither case fits here as he hasn't received any money and one of them is a 20 year old and his best player. I tell you what why don't I buy everyone's best player for 250k and tell them i'll either buy them or give them back at the end of the season. The only person that benefits is me! Now if it was borderline players that weren't so good, then yeah maybe loan deals are good for the seller and loanee. I see no logic in this deal, hence why its looks very dodgy.

With normal transfers you're not allowed to sell the player on again for a month, I assume the same applies with direct transfers although I've never been involved with one so I wouldn't know whether that's the case.

I reckon home advantage got you that draw on Sunday but it's rematch time next week. I think I should win as long as I don't lose any important players in the cup tie this week. Good luck anyhow:)
 
Was a crazy game. Of course me playing for the best part of an hour with 10 men might have worked in your favour. ;) Luckily I'm out of the cup so hopefully my team will still be fresh for the rematch
 
he posted a thread or press release asking for offers on his players, i made several offers on 4 or 5 of his players, he rejected all but 2, i have those 2 players until the end of the season, and i can make another offer to see if i can keep them permanently. its not my position to explain why he agreed, i dont even have to explain the deal we agreed, but i did. any deal isnt subject to gilly's approval, or should i get him to ask you if my offer at the end of the season is high enough to accept. its up to that manager what deals he accepts not yours gilly, so get off your high horse because i managed to haggle a really good deal for me.

if any of you were offered the chance for the same deal you would accept it, if you want to dispute why the players were sold then take it up with the manager who sold them, not me. i will take any player who can improve the quality of my squad regardless of how cheap i can get them, im not going to say thats a silly deal on your behalf why dont you increase the price by 5m per player, and for your reference he had 2 better players that i was actually trying to buy, ash kendall and dermott windsor, but they were sold to someone else, for 3m and 4m respectively.

We need to wait and see what Clark Nova's opinion on this is.

There is a section of the rules which refers to situations such as these and the xpert11 crew look harshly on it. I hope we can sort this out ourselves though or it could mean getting Clark in trouble as well. To be honest I would have mailed them already but I'm worried about what these punishments they hint at are. I don't want to see anyone and certainly not the admin losing their accounts.

Plus he was sent off in the 89th minute, im sure during those last moments he would have made the difference though! :P
