Good work, your squad seems to be one end to the other. You have loads of youngsters and then loads of geriatrics :p (I'm also hoping some of my young ones get some skill increase come the end of the season!)
 
Aye, I brought in old fellers with quite high skill factors, then brought in youngsters that should benefit from them :)

Quite liking the 5 skill 18yo my academy produced not so long since. £5m for old rope :)
 
Only some because not all of them have played much, and some have only been there part of the season. Plus some are just not worth worrying about lol.
I thought they had to play a certain amount of games etc before their skill increased?

The total skill update available to a player depends on age+average form+random factors. This is then multiplied by the players match experience so to maximise the increase you need to get 100% match experience. Visible increases are a different matter. Although player skill is only shown in whole bars players have an actual skill value measured to the nearest tenth so a 5 skill player has actual skill between 4.6 and 5.4 a player rated at 4.6 could get a large skill increase and still not show a visible inprovement whereas a 5.4 player only needs a small increase to give a visible improvement. It's also possible for a 5.4 rated player to gain enough to gain 2 visible skill bars.

How many games it takes to get 100% experience depends on various factors. Young players gain experience quicker than old ones, competitive matches give more than friendlies and more experience tends to be gained from games late in the season. I tend to give my fringe players games whenever I'm playing weak opposition to try and get their experience up then during the last few games play whoever still needs the experience to get 100%. By season end I usually manage to get them all to 100%.

Well a half-decent 4 nil win over one of Div 2's whipping boys for me this week, but it's now mathematicaly impossible for me to get promoted. My last 3 games are also against teams at the bottom of the league, so the squad players will be getting a run out from now on.
 
Got a 2-0 win against Nursie's Nightmares even though I put my kids out to get experience and threw tactics out the window.

Managed to pick up a vital 2-1 win in the Div 3 promotion race. With 3 teams well clear of the chasing pack it's going to be tough on whoever misses out on promotion this season.

The fact that both Wormy and Kaiowas have a game in hand and better goal difference means it could be us that stay down and have to wait for next season...
 
You neglected to mention the spawny miss hit shot in injury time that won it for you ;)

Not happy with yesterdays result. Was my chance to make myself strong favorite for the title and now I'm back in the dogfight.
 
Bloody joke, 1-0 up away from home and I lost 2-1 from goals in the last 5 minutes :(

Plus my best striker who was back after about 3 weeks out got injured again.

Not much more I can do with the season. I only have 2 players without 100% experience so I will just try and get that up in the last 2 games. Might try out some new tactics as well.

I need to win my last 2, 1 of which is pretty easy. The other is at home to top of the league, if i win those 2 and 2nd place loses away to top of the league i'll get promotion. If only i didnt forget to set my team up a couple of weeks ago :(.
