Mine was a really odd game. 4-0 plus a few chances missed inside the first 20 minutes and I thought I was on for a complete thrashing. Then nothing happened until I grabbed the 5th just before half time. Second half there wasn't a single incident or chance besides my only decent midfielder getting himself injured and losing all of his form (his second major injury of the season :( )

to top it off you both scored 6. Was the most disappointing 5-0 win I've ever had :p

Nah 5 minutes every Sunday afternoon is all that's needed (and Thursdays if you have a cup game).


But please don't apply if you're not prepared to stick it out for a few seasons. There's loads of teams without managers atm because they lost interest pretty quickly. We'll probably knock the 4 divisions into 3 for next season to cut the dead wood.

I work sunday afternoons, can I not set up my team friday night and just let it play, or am I missing the point of this ?:)
 
I might try signing up a dodgy account and just mucking about

that way if I come back and join the league I'll know if I'll stick around or not

Organised a few OCUK things so I hate people dropping out
 
Xpert Eleven is really tight on duplicate accounts etc so I wouldn't risk signing up an account just to mess with in case it prevents you getting a 'proper' account further down the line
 
The division 3 title is mine! Commiserations to my 2 rivals trailing me by just 1 all important point.

Is there any news on what format we will be using for the third season? My choice would be to have the premiership and then 2 other divisions below it of equal standing. If only so any good managers can quickly progress to the premiership.
 
Well another 4th place finish in Div 2 for myself.

My players better not be thinking that their jobs are safe just because they scored 16 goals in the last three matches of the season.


Failure will not be tolerated.
 
Woop :D 6-0 victory today, a good way to finish off the double winning season. Think we really need to sort the league out now though - far too many inactive managers!!

In real world football the order of things is very much established, everyone knows who the strong/weak teams are and it's not very often that anything happens to significantly change that.

In a game such as X11 things are less settled and it makes sense for teams to be able to move up and down the league system more quickly to reflect this otherwise a good team where the manager has lost interest will be slowly falling through the divisions taking up a place which could be filled by one of the talented enthusiastic managers from the lower divisions.

lol i noticed that, really unlucky :P

Shame the inactive managers from the top flights cant be replaced by you guys who are really going for it. Although easy wins against them are nice for my teams form :P
