The season is finally over and all of the promotion and relegation places have been settled. Congratulations to all those who did well this season, it's been a tough fight in all the divisions.

New season will be starting in a week or so after the season ends. We really want to get all of the vancant teams filled with managers or new teams in place to make up the numbers so if you know anybody that wants a team then now is the time to apply!

League ID is 119118 so make sure you search for that when looking for our leauge.

I had an awesome season update. All but 2 players improved and a lot of them had a visual improvement as well

Was disppointed with mine, every player improved but I only got 7 visible improvements.

Doesn't sound so bad when I put it like that, but I was hoping for more also most of the visible improvements were with the fringe players. The first team hasn't really improved much at all.

My star player has become even more so. A lot of the improvements I was looking for haven't taken place. My youth keeper had an average form of 18 and didn't improve at all.

Does he not even have a '+' in the +/- column of your change report? If his form was that high and he played enough to get 100% match experience then there should have been some improvement however small it was.

Great update for me, all players increased, 18 visible and 1 even gained 2 skill bars. One of my keepers is now a 21 year old with 8 skill, worth 12 mil.

my star player (and probably one of the best players in the league) was injured most of the season and so he has now gone down in skill, dropped one star! Only 2 of my players actually gained some stars psshhh.
Oh well, roll on the new season I guess

In case anybody is interested in a second team, I am in a league that is about to start a new season so new applicants are welcomed.

The league ID is 52250.

It's a small but well established league and is an offshoot of the Shocker Soccer forums (mainly midlands football teams forum but lots of others on there too).

Rehab training to keep his form up would have prevented that.

Gained 7 points overall. Only one player lost a point, and that was my sub keeper.

Similiar situation here, had a +8 skill increase in total with 6 players having a visible increase. The way I see it is all my other players must be primed for a visible increase at the end of next season.

Financially I've raked in the cash with £2,250,000 prize money for the league title, player with most points, player with most assists, top goalscorer and most xpert 11's.

Had 18 + improvements accross my squad, one player even improved 2 bars!

Although the teams form is HORRENDOUS now so going to cost a fortune to raise it all up

Unfortunately I seem to have a bunch of team players who aren't interested in personal glory. They keep sharing the goals around and weren't really near the top of the tables.

Well I think we need to get rid of the teams that aren't actively playing, ie managerless. Unless anybody wants to apply for those teams I'll delete them and we can get underway, I'll give it a week I think. I'll start a new thread to advertise recruitment.

Nope. No + or - in the change report. He'd played 9 games in the season.

Looking at the list of managers we've currently got 28 teams with managers, 22 of which have signed in within the last week, the next one down hasn't been on since early April. I'd suggest keeping those 22 plus the best 2 teams from the those with an inactive/no manager (Currently Spicy FC and Salford FC based on team strength) then look to recruit 2 more managers to take over those teams. This would then give us 3 divisions of 8. Should we get a real rush of interest we could then add 3 more to give 3x9.

Just had another look at my reserve keeper again. 9 appearances but 0 experience. How can that be right?
