On television Riccardo Buso tells how he writes poetry to process his grief after the death of his father. Opponent supporters mock him during the next match. The team spirit however is strong and his teammates give him all their support and he gains some form.

How dare they mock is poetry for his dead dad, how disgusting

Well sorry to disappoint guys but my team has dominated the top division once again

8 points clear with one game to go.
Scored the most goals (9 more than closest rival)
Conceded joint least amount.
Highest rated player of the season.
Top goal scorer in the league.
Player with most assists in the league.

So that's 4 seasons 3 league titles and 2 cups

(Yes I'm aware I'm being a bad winner, but from the comments I couldn't help it!)

I've had 2 division wins so far but admittedly the competition was much weaker.

It is still very much hot hot hot in Div 2 for the 2nd promotion spot. It is down to Metatarsal Utd or me (SportingClubAthletic), but they have the advantage. Although the 7 - 2 kicking I handed them yesterday can't have been too good for their morale!

Basically I need to win my last game by 2 or more goals with Meta Utd either drawing or losing.

I have no idea what happened in that 7-2 game :confused:

2-1 at half time as well.

I put a couple of youngsters in there, the 18 year old I had in defence had a 1 bar game

So I suspect he caused most of my problems.

Defensively you had most things wrong. You tightened the wings against his long range shots, average age of your defence was pretty low which will have weakened that area (anything less than 26 will cause them to play below their potential). Offensive away from home is often asking for trouble plus you played pressure which always opens you up to the risk of conceding late goals. (Last 3 were conceded in the final 10 minutes).

On a more confusing note your defence should have got better after Farrelly went off at 4-2 plus pressure should have partially countered long range shots yet you conceded 4 of the 7 from range.

Damn, I did what I needed to do, but you won so that nullified it. Nearly got promoted in my first season, I guess that is a positive!

Do we want to recruit any more teams? The season is over and if I started a new one as things stand currently we would have the same amount of teams but a few managers have been away from their teams for a while. Ideally we'd have new managers at the helm of those teams or get rid of them completely if new players want to start from scratch with their own team.
