I'd prefer to keep the current teams. Can new managers not change the name of a team they're taking over?
 
If there is anyone who wants to join up then I'd prefer them to take over existing teams than create new ones. Pretty sure there are a few people who have said they are looking to drop out.

Had a reasonable change report (11 players with a visible increase, one of which was double, one player dropped a bar) although I'm having to try and do a minor rebuilding exercise in the close season. Some of my senior players haven't really progressed as I'd have liked so they're going to have to go and be replaced with more skillfull players of a similar age. Seeing as I've got quite a bit of young talent I'm taking the risk of selling some of it off to fund the whole thing as I'm also somewhat skint.
 
There are currently no players in the waiting list so nobody to start a new team or take over the seemingly abandoned ones. Bad news is that one of the teams crossed the threshold where they are automatically deleted due to manager absence last night so we now have an odd number of teams. We could do with a new manager to keep it to 3 divisions of 8. Other than that I can delete a few teams and split it to 2 divisions of 10. I'm reluctant to do this though as it will likely upset people who worked hard for promotion and find themselves still playing in the bottom tier.

Anybody up for a new team? Anybody got any work colleagues or friends that might be interested? Get them signed up!

Nobody got an opinion on this? Should I scrap a few non-active teams and we'll have two divisions of 10? Or does anybody know anybody that would be interested in a team?
 
i havent read most of the new replies in this thread so apologies if this has been sorted out somewhere, but i am quitting (your mums athletic).
 
I've expressed interest in this thread before, providing I can say do all the jobs in under an hour once a week I'd be happy to step into an existing team. That said I'd much prefer to start my own

I'd be surprised if it takes you as long as an hour to be honest. I generally set my team up for the next week after a Thu evening game (when I remember!) and doubt I spend more than 10-15 mins a week on there. :)

If thats the case feel free to sign me up, if in the event I'm out / totally forget about a game will the system just automatically play my default team, don't want you missing games if I was to forget! (not saying I will)
 
Sunday evening games are a must if I'm gonna be involved. Thurs is OK for cup games.

Looking at the first half season compared to the last half I might have had a chance at staying up had the games been on a sunday.

Have we other teams that are definitely leaving? How many are we going to be left with?
 
whats this about Sunday evening, I work till 6pm on Sunday's so if this is a requirment then counter me out

Like I said if I can set my team up say on tuesday and leave it alone till tuesday next week, that's fine with me:)
 
You can set up your team at any stage during the week and that will take effect for the next league game. You can also choose a default formation that will always be used if ever you forget to set up your team.

It doesn't matter if you aren't around on Sunday evenings, just sort your team out earlier in the week and it'll be fine - I'm sure that's what many people (myself included) do. :)

Ok, then sign me up, when does the new league start?
 
Games can be played on Sunday if that's what everybody wants. We currently have 22 teams but if Scarey Squirrel does indeed want to quit then I can removed his team and also Rambro's Battle Royale side, leaving us with 20 teams.

Are people happy with two divisions of 10 teams? We can actually play two games a week too if people want quick seasons. Let me know so that I can create the season.
