EDIT: liking your un-cluttered desk-top MOOGLEY, Re-cycle bin - Steam - Origin and a couple of folders, what more does a man need.

The folders are Games (For non steam games) and Utils. I can't be doing with clutter on the Desktop drives my OCD mad...

When did you order? I ordered Sunday I think, and it was dispatched on Monday, arriving friday, I think we have used the same seller lkehbfjsehbfsekjhbf_korea?

Did you instruct him an amount to put on for customs?

I have put my catleap on the mm if anyone is interested. its 2B serial revision and tried and tested to 100hz as seen earlier on this thread .

@glen, a lot of people just using suncream to get them off. And a lot of monitors are reported to have sticky parts were or even still having LG original stickers on them.

Wooo, mine is in Liverpool. It's about 15 miles from my house, it makes me feel worse knowing it's so close yet I won't get it until Monday/tuesday (I think if they contact me about any charges I will tell them I am gonna pick it up).

I bought it on the 26th of April so I really shouldn't complain, I emailed him straight away the price for customs and he responded on the morning of the 27th (his 27th) that he would put it down for $110. So yeah, just me being impatient I guess. Did you receive your tracking number straight away when he posted it?

Gents can I ask what is the appeal of this monitor. I've had my Sammy S700 for a few months now. Mainly 3D was what drew me to it but when a thread like this gets loads of posts my spidey senses start tingling and my wallet usually takes a hit

I guess I'll need to read through the entire thread if I don't get a reply.

1)27"
2)2560 x 1440 resolution
3)S-IPS screen
4)Price (other 27" S-IPS screens seem to be £400-£600) these screen can be had from around 200 notes
5)Some people have overclocked the revision 2B catleaps to 100-120Hz (even though I would not advise it)

I tried a 3D monitor for a while and decided it was not for me. I would rather have a good quality, High resolution IPS screen (I don't like TN screens like on the S700 like you have, even though I have heard the colours are quite good for a TN)

The downside to these monitors seems to be build quality and the fact that if it arrives with any faults then it is more hassle trying to get refund/exchange but having said that people on this forum have had quite good experiences sorting out any problems with the sellers.

Niko - I paid on 23rd, then my order was updated on the 24th, the update had tracking details

majnu - I ordered the Yamakasi Catleap and from what I can see, no build quality issues, just a bit of a crappy stand. There is no OSD and you can only adjust brightness, BUT the screen is amazing, its just like sitting at a 27inc Imac (minus the surround) mine is now a revision D so the chances of getting a B are quite slim. I didn't bother paying the extra for a pixel perfect version, but the one I have has absolutely no dead or stuck pixels from what I have been able to see so far. Hope this helps!
