You know that "what has been seen cannot be unseen" meme, well have you ever

Slightly tangential to this topic:

On foreign news channels (Al-Jazeera etc.) they show the aftermath of events. Suicide bombings with body parts still visibly scattered around the streets and such. It is obviously a more accurate and real depiction of events, instead of some talking head going on about the bodycount and death toll, which are essentially meaningless without a frame of reference.

Does anyone else think our media's choices to not show this kind of footage is naive and Victorian?

Well it's no going to stop it from happening if it's illegal so what would that law accomplish? Mexican drug cartels are going to stop posting videos? "oh wait carlos, snuff videos are illegal in the UK we better not".

Like someone else said if CP was legal you'd have a ton more of it because people would pay money for it.

I suppose it would then have the grey area of why is JFK assassination legal but others arn't...
