wow thank you. I mean, as much as I appreciate the advice when it came to purchasing, almost feels like some kind of sick joke. Why in 2025, would anyone recommend a motherboard that does not support WiFi.

I'm not sure what my options are now, move my modem upstairs the only viable one? Not even sure if that is possible as I live in a flat and it's connected to the wall

Can i buy an adaptor of sorts? I get I should have double checked it but pffffffffffffffffffffft

why in 2025 would anyone buy a motherboard with wifi? just drop £40 on a decent usb adapter or an Archer TX3000E like someone else said

So retail wow also crashes, can on longer get to character screen either (on classic or retail)

I'll give it some more attention tomorrow as have friends over this evening. Thanks for your help

D'oh!

From what I read, the nature of the problem was that WoW has the ability to sync your settings through the cloud and that was why even a reinstall of the app and clearing the secondary folders didn't fix it.
