My local Tesco Extra has re-jigged the car park to give a bit more space between bays so that it is easy to get out of the car.

Costco has that too. But some still park over that gap.

Our local Costco spaces have always been big. There's no difference between the normal spaces and the disabled ones in terms of size.

Still get morons in vans parking in the disabled without a blue badge though, although last time staff were moving them out almost as soon as they parked. The threat of losing their membership was enough.
